Firstly the building is beautiful and the layout is so nice with big, spaced out tables, the bar on one end, and cosy corners which provides privacy. We were greeted very politely at the door and shown to our table. Food was amazing, so many veggie options! I had the Methi Matar Malai and the Samosas, best ones I've ever had. Cocktails were great too and 2 for £12 is decent so I had quite a few, and still felt very comfortable in the establishment (many people were drinking but no one was being too loud or creepy). Ordering with the QR code was chill and straightforward and staff were still very attentive but also didn't meddle in anyone's business unless we asked for something, they just left us to eat in peace and only came back to collect dishes at the end. Just all round perfect experience. One thing I will say, the car park is tiny for the size of the restaurant so need to get there early and also book a table in advance/ maybe go during the day rather than evening. We will be back!

This is the best restaurant Ive ever been to in the UK. peroid. I have been all over London, Nottingham, Manchester, Leciester Milton Keynes and im telling you this is the one you want. order the mixed grill and a curry for your table and you will be in heaven. There is no food better. Charcoal smokey spicy taste made with love care and attention. I couldnt fault it. I drive 2 hours to come back I dont care.

Had a great experience in the past so decided to visit with my work colleagues after work. There was some interesting incident outside near to the parking with fire brigade dealing with some incident which we have had no idea about. Parking today was quite easy to find as it wasn’t very busy and the awkwardness of the parking spaces is somewhat challenging at times. When we entered there was no one at the Host table and waited for few seconds till a very pleasant lady who might have been on a break or has not started her shift stood up from one of the tables and greeted us and gave us a nice corner sofa table in the main hall of the restaurant. It was quite quiet at the time, maybe around five tables in all. There were no menus available on the table and no one to ask for so i stood up and got some what take away looking menus and asked one of the staff working in the kitchen if these are the menus and he said: Yes. We looked at the menu and I would say it wasn’t the most extensive menu but had enough options. Dishes were on the pricier side as out total bill came up to £67.00 approximately excluding drinks, which were for around £7.00. All Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and ready to help us. Once we ordered we have to wait for good 45 minutes for the starters, I have had a feeling that they were not ready for shift. And was one of the issues I think they can get better at it. When the meal came it was all quite fresh and hot and portion sizes were good. Out main course arrived on time though and again was quite tasty and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though we were sitting next to the music speakers we were able to converse easily and it wasn’t overpowering. Toilets were quite clean. Apart from the speed of service and price it was overall good visit. Maybe preparedness, speed of service and price of items is something the restaurant can focus on a bit.

Had a table booked last Saturday afternoon/evening as it's the local for a couple of family members. The drinks choice is fantastic, plenty of room and large seating areas in different areas of the pub. When the food came out, wow!! Amazing taste and quality and kept us all busy for a while! Owner and staff all friendly and helpful and will definitely be making a return visit for more of the same. 10/10.

Great curry and mixed grill massive seating areas and awesome with the football on. Curry portions were a tad small but expected nowadays unfortunately with most places I've been to. The staff are really friendly and is very modern inside. Great place to take large parties and or kids too. Lots of parking though it does get busy on a Friday, Saturday. Will definitely be back!!

Had Red Lion special grill. All meats were horrible. Had a bite on chicken wing, spit it out straight away. It's boiled meat mixed with herbs. Testure and taste so disgusting. Couldn't eat 10% of the grill. Even poppadom one was crispy as normal but one was soft. So disappointed!!!

Possibly the biggest mixed grill I have ever had. We arrived at 9pm (which is a bit late) with last food orders advertised as being taken until 9.30. We were rushed to order and you could tell the staff were a bit annoyed with us. The food came out in record time though. Everything was really nice. I will definitely come again, but will try and arrive a bit earlier

The Red Lion is another top desi pub where the food is top notch and the beers are fantastic as they have Butty Bach on draught. We sat in the outside courtyard where we enjoyed blue skies and fresh air until the temperature dropped and the expensive canopy was closed for our comfort. This is a very busy establishment so booking is advisable.
