Stan at this Harborne Chip shop is a legend. Despite arriving at 1:59 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. close, he welcomed me in and cooked a fresh large cod and chips from scratch. The fish was perfectly flaky, the batter was crisp, and the service was unmatched—highly recommended!
Lovely fish and chips . the fish was Crispy and tasty. The chips were flavoursome which seems to be hard to find in our area. Excellent service and always a friendly atmosphere.
The best gluten free fish & chips in Birmingham, the staff was lovely, Stan the owner really knows how to run a great chippy & has great customer service. The fish was so crispy & fresh, it went down a treat. Would highly recommend & priced fairly
It was worth a short drive to then enjoy the most delicious gluten free fish and chips. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who even served gluten free curry sauce and vinegar. To add the fish was fresh, it definitely didn’t taste like frozen-It was absolutely delicious! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️

Incredible fish and chips. If you want to show people visiting the original fish and chip recipe that has captured the nation then this is the place to go. Do it!! Portions are big and the owner is a legend. He will walk you through everything.
This is a class chippy, probs the best around brum central. Thank you for reliable gluten-free fish and chips that taste amazing and fully worth the price. Only note is to please expand your delivery radius by half a mile so I don’t have to walk ten minutes to get it delivered - having said that, I have done and would do that again for these fish and chips. Also, the gf battered halloumi is a real treasure. Stellar
Amazing fish and chip shop - wouldn't go anywhere else. Fantastic service, great quality food and cater for allergies and variety of dietary alternatives available. The owner in particularly is lovely, so helpful and so patient. Highly recommend.
Friendly, tasty food, very careful with allergens (nut free, inc traces and offer gluten free option), consistently best fish and chips. Only slight downside is they are cash only and local cash point broken is have to plan ahead!
