I have used this place a few times and it's not been too bad. I went yesterday afternoon (Oct 3rd) at around 4:15 pm. As a rule I don't usually have anything from any chippy until at least 6:00 pm as it gives them a chance to get rid of lunch times baked up food. I saw this opens at 12 ish to thought they would have it all, at least fresh by 4:15 pm. This for me, is a 12 -14 mile round trip. I ordered a 'large' mixed meats with chips. I arrived home and the was chicken non-existent. What little was there was dry and barely edible. The lamb meat was dried out to the point when it was actually hard and resembled a large pork scratching. It was a cross between that and a dog chew - those things that dogs chew for hours but never get anywhere with it; that would be a factual description. Rather than subject my digestion system to that, I threw it away. I also told the server just vinegar only and no salt. But she was too busy rattling to he mate, hence chips drenched in salt. If you decide to use this place, keep your eye on where the meat comes from. Have it FRESH off the rotisserie and not the Bain Marie heated storage tins on the side. I obviously had lunch times heated leftovers. Not in a hurry to go back.

I want to leave 5 stars as this is my regular, however, today I ordered my kebab burger with my usual salad and sauces. This time, the bun wasnt toasted and the sauces were wrong. Its not a massive deal, but it takes away from the quality when the bun isnt toasted as the bun itself is dry and sticky when untoasted.

Half decent chippy; used to be better when they did double battered chips as an option on Wednesday(made by one woman in the back, who happens to be the most polite and friendly lady) and bigger portions. Came in the other night an hour and a half before closing for a lad to tell me and my missus heβs not cooking anything else and whatever is left is it(couple small fish, scallops and chicken) I requested a large cod and chips and a kebab burger, poor girl who served us went red in the face and told us we canβt have what weβve ordered as the fella doesnβt want to do his job. Seems now since doing deliveries the quality has slipped and corners are cut, a genuine shame but still worth going to during the day when the owner is there.

For what they are selling and the price i paid. This has to be the worse Take away meal we have had. It may have been the time we visited or end of stock but it was shocking. The Fish had been either over cooked of left on display to long. The fish was like rubber. The kebab meat had seen better times. This must have been at the bottom of the serving tin and forgot about. Most was crunchy to the point of being a pork scratching. I will not go into the chips but say no more they were bad. So unfortunately the only person to enjoy my encounter will be owner after his business took Β£23.00 plus for something not fit to eat

Good tasting food and decent portions so will continue to go back there. Manager really does seem keen to help and get things going. One slight issue is some of the younger staff members really don't seem to care and can be rude now and then

Overpriced, extremely long wait times, and poor quality. Expect to wait 30+ minutes during dinner time to be served inside as the staff prioritise online orders. Last time I went, my order was wrapped up whilst they made fresh roe which resulted in cold, soggy chips. I wouldn't have been so critical if the batter inside the roe wasn't raw to the point it was oozing out

More batter then fish, mushy peas like they've been sat there all day, and old scrappy chips! At least serve decent quality food if you want more custom! Complete waste of money
