    Visited last night and sat at a table in the old bar area. The food was good and the service was too. I cannot say as much for the chairs some of us sat on. The seat pads were filthy and that is not an exaggeration. Surely as part of a large chain of pubs there must be someone employed for cleaning the upholstery. Please get it sorted or at least remove the chairs with dirty seat pads!

    Visited on a Wednesday afternoon recently, pleasant atmosphere, quick service, had the large fish and chips portion size very generous ,two large pieces of fresh hand battered cod and a good pile of chips with mushy peas,cheaper than our local chippy take away! Partner had the regular carvery which again was excellent! Would definitely recommend!

    Went here with my son for a carvery and I must say it was very flavoursome and I enjoyed it,the food was plentiful for the price.I couldn't eat all mine so I asked for a container to take it home and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.So if you want a nice carvery please do pop down and see them.

    The meat on the mixed grill was so soft and tender and juicy it is a stark contrast to most places offering up such dishes, it’s a lovely change having fresh juicy meat. The price is ridiculous for what you get at £13.99 and it’s well worth it. Chicken wing starter was fresh hot and juicy and a big portion for only £4.99. Will be back again for sure and try other items off the menu and maybe the carvery as it’s hard to find a good carvery nearby.

    We went here for the first time last week and will definitely be back again! I prefer this one to it’s main competitor. I found the variation in vegetables to me much better - never seen sprouts at a carvery before! The meat was juicy and tasty. I was stuffed!

    Had to write my review after just coming back from The Broadway ! The carvery was excellent, beef , turkey and gammon cooked to perfection and plenty of it. An assortment of veg with three kinds of potatoes , carrots , sprouts and a lush cauliflower cheese. Two kinds of gravy one of which was onion. The service was quick and friendly and tables were cleaned as soon as table were cleared What a joy it was to eat here again, I keep returning time and time again as I have yet to find a carvery in the area that can beat here. Well done The Broadway , another satisfied customer and can't wait for your festive food. Oh and the Christmas decorations are very nice. Thank you !
