Christmas Day meal was fantastic, service was brilliant, with such friendly and welcoming staff - especially Abbie & Holly who couldn’t do enough for us. Great atmosphere and the food was hot and delicious. Pub was decorated lovely for Christmas. Thank you!
I went today with my daughter while visiting her and the food was amazing. I had the duo of pork and it was cooked to perfection, mash was delicious, white wine and mustard sauce delicious and we had sticky toffee pudding wow. I couldn’t fault it. It’s a long time since I have found a place with delicious food like this. Shame I live in Sunderland but told the waitress I would happily travel here to have my tea ! The service was fantastic too really friendly staff. I would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried here yet you need to go.
We booked as a family group of 11 with accessibility requirements and wanting to bring a dog. Everything was arranged and sorted really easily and nothing was too much trouble. Ruby, who took and managed the booking was great. Abbie who looked after us on the day was amazing. The food was delicious and we all had a thoroughly wonderful time. As it was my birthday, it felt really special to know that everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to think about any of the arrangements. We’ve been several times before for meals out and we’ve always had excellent service and the food has been incredible. Thank you to the whole team
We booked as a last minute Sunday lunch after a walk with our pooch and we got a table in the dog friendly area of the restaurant. We were met by friendly staff and everyone was so lovely to our little Cockapoo, Cooper. We had a 2 course Sunday lunch which was stunning, we would really recommend this - the puddings were delicious! There were bowls of water for dogs dotted around the restaurant plus bowls of doggy treats, which Cooper loved. We were served by Abbie and her customer service was outstanding, she was so lovely. Definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be returning. Thanks for a lovely afternoon ☺️
The Calamari, out of this World. Try it. And the rest of the food, excelent quality. Service and staff very friendly and very aware if you need anything. Place very clean, including the toilets. 5stars. Deserved. I will come back.
Popular special nights think twice 2hrs+ Very disappointing...over subscribed, meaning slow service and lengthy waiting times for food. Seated at 6:30, starter came at 7:10 and main came at 8:10. The restaurant needs to either not accept as many covers (320 on the 12th Jan) and provide the service normally received or manage the special evenings better.
Very good cozy place, plenty parking space, service was a bit relaxed , ordered starters that was never served but mains were delicious, portion size could be better but really enjoyed brownie ice-cream sundaey. Dogs are allowed inside so had to listen to constant dog barking whilst eating food so not sure if there was any music playing.
Recommended to try here by the Windmill at Linton. Really pleased we did as food and service was amazing! Décor lovely, place looks very clean and well cared for. Good range of food on the menu, which arrived quickly and was delicious! The staff we spoke to were all friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
Managed to accommodate 21 of us on Saturday night. Fantastic service, knowledgeable about the menu and managed to serve all 21 of us at the same time. Food fantastic from delicious garlic mushrooms, tender steaks & juicy pork belly. Very pretty decor & comfortable inside. Our first visit here and it won't be the last.
