   We visited after a walk up Clent hills as the signs outside said you were dog friendly. Really lovely team, beautiful coffee (and lager) and insanely tasty and cheap cake! Our boxer absolutely loved being there as it was so spacious and open! We are already planning our next visit where we hope to try some more food. Extremely reasonably priced food and drink in a lovely location.

   Been here a couple of times now since it’s reopened at the beginning of August 2025, and have to say it’s been incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent and the staff are terrific, nothing is too much trouble they really do go the extra mile, it’s a lovely place set in the clent hills with beautiful surroundings, and your four legged friends are made just as welcome, what more can you ask for.

   Had a great roast beef dinner here today. My husband had the trio! It was absolutely delicious. There were so many different vegetables on the plate, but also served beautifully. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back as it was well worth the money. Must point out that my beef was absolutely superb! Next time going to make sure I have room for a desert!! Staff great too! Definitely worth a visit!

   After taking in the beautiful views on a walk up Adams Hill we popped in for some food. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We opted for the all day breakfast which didn’t disappoint. It was clear that quality produce was used - it tasted delicious. Superb value for money and highly recommended!

   I didn't buy any food. The visit to this pub was one of reminiscence. Been a very long time since being in the area. The owner was so friendly and spoke about the area and memories of time gone by and how the Hill is so different. My memory was of grassland up the slope and my children runn down it. The pub is exquisite. Log fire, clean, warm. I went up to check opening times as I had planned to visit next Wednesday. However, they are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sandwiches and cobs with a nice pint or glass of wine.
