There were eight of us who dined here prior to us staying the night at the lovely Hex Hotel. Now I'm known to have eaten a burger or two in my time so I consider myself an expert in such things. I had the 6oz Prime Beef Burger and added cheese and bacon. Now take this as a compliment chef/owners etc; this was one of the best burgers I've eaten. The meat was perfect and the Onion Chutney added a level of sweetness that just made it next level. The bacon was also really nice. It didn't fall apart and it wasn't at all greasy. Trust me, this is a top tier burger that I'd recommend very highly. The service was good and we also had breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was a buffet help yourself affair. The food was great and of a decent quality. 10/10

Having stayed at the Hex Hotel breakfast here is part of the package. Cereals, limited range of choice including gluten free, pity they forgot the milk in the urn, and were sceptical when people said there was none - but they had forgotten it! Essentially just a giant buffet, cook your own toast, fried eggs in grease, bacon sausage OK, mushrooms from a tin and tasteless tomatoes- poor.

Second time here, pretty good. We had the butternut squash and sweet potato soup, minute steak and sticky toffee pudding. Service was quick and efficient.

We went here for a late lunch so it wasn't that busy. Our first server was polite, friendly & quick to take our orders. The food arrived quickly & was okay, it was basically burgers & chips so not hard to get wrong. We asked for some water with our drink order but after asking twice more it never materialised. After we'd eaten our food we waited almost 10mins before asking a different server for the desert menu, we all decided what we'd like & the waited.....& Waited.....& Waited.....nothing, eventually we gave up, we watched plenty of people getting served & staff walking past without even looking out way. I eventually asked a passing staff member for the bill & he happened to be the manager, I explained what had happened, he said he was sorry but after reading plenty of other reviews this seems to be the normal for this restaurant & a sorry is just a common empty word used over & over without rectifying the issue of sloppy disinterested service, which is a shame as the park overall is pretty good. We wouldn't return for food here as the service is pretty bad.

Convenient and Tasty, but Be Aware of Outdoor Seating. We recently had the pleasure of dining at Wilds Café Bistro not once, but twice - once in the evening and once for breakfast. As a hotel guest, the restaurant's location couldn't be more convenient, literally just a step away from the hotel door. In the evening, my companion and I stuck to our usual habits and opted for burgers from the menu. Our orders arrived promptly, and we were impressed with the presentation and preparation of our meals, which we felt represented fair value for money at £17.00 each. However, we made the mistake of sitting outside to enjoy the pleasant weather, which turned out to be my mistake. Be warned: if you choose to sit outside, don't expect any service whatsoever. It seems that the outdoor seating area is a self-service zone. The next morning, we returned to the restaurant for their breakfast buffet, which offered an impressive spread of fresh fruits, cereals, pastries, and cooked breakfast items. We were pleased with the taste and preparation of our selections, and despite the staff being a bit rushed due to the busy morning, they handled the crowds admirably. Our experiences at Wilds Café Bistro were quite satisfying but not overwhelming. The evening meal was delightful in presentation and taste, and the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic spread to start the day. But the convenient location and good food make Wilds Café Bistro a decent option, especially for hotel guests.

We had Mother’s Day lunch at Wilds, after a brilliant walk round the Park. It was a lovely experience. Good food and good service. Will definitely come back. £21 for two courses was very reasonable.

Can I say a big thank you to the team who were working yesterday. They were all very helpful and kind. My son has multiple allergies, the chef was so accomodating, nothing was too much trouble, he came out to talk to us and made a special meal for my son. Great service, lovely experience. Thank you again

The food was nice and freshly cooked, but expensive, a burger fries salad, lasagne (devoid of any sauce) fries salad, 2 x coffee's just over £32. But it was completely powerchair friendly. But at those prices no chance of going again.

Had a late lunch here Tuesday after Easter. It was not very busy, there were less than a dozen other diners: couples and parents with small children. Staff here were very friendly and attentive. We were shown to a table and after looking through the large menu ordering was done at the bar. We had less than 10 minutes to wait for our side dish of warm bread and olive oil/balsamic. Our mains of Steak Tagliana salad and Mediterranean Vegetables Gnocci arrived just as we were finishing up. All the food we had was delicious. Husband also enjoyed his beer and I my virgin mojito.
