   Went for what should have been a nice meal and some drinks but due to outside circumstances had to leave early. When we got there are table had been given away so had the choice of 2 small tables that weren't fit for purpose, asked to move to a larger table, ordered drinks and food when drinks came out mine came a good few minutes before my wifes and the 3 wait staff couldn't decide whos it was and then couldnt tell me what drink they'd brought out, my wifes wine followed a few minutes later. Had to sit listening to the wait staff either complain or just seem unprofessional. Had to leave early due to a home emergency went up and told the waitress she checked in the kitchen and our food was apparently just coming out and it took another 10 minutes to turn up in takeaway boxes. After getting home we found that my wifes was wrong she had ordered a veggie burger with guacamole and slaw and it came without either and the burger was burnt, also supposed to be on a brioche bun but it neither looks nor tastes like brioche, looks like a normal breadcake, the onion rings were also undercooked, chips look like skin on fries you'd get from supermarket

   Just been for Sunday lunch and can definitely recommend. Great food and unbelievable service. All servers were lovely (think their names were Becca, Mia, Courtney, Courtney). Will be returning. The garlic mushrooms and beef nachos are to die for, the dinners are unbelievable I need a life supply of the mash and the sticky toffee pudding to put in my partners words was “the most sticky toffeest pudding ever”

   It was the first time we've been for pie night and it didn't disappoint. The slice of pie was as big as the welcome we received from the friendly polite staff. The food quality was amazing and if you like your pies full of meat you'll love this place. The kids enjoyed their food and cleared their plates as quick as we did, they even asked to come again and for £3 for pie and £3/£2 for fries,mash or veg well definitely be coming again soon.

   Great British food, busy for a Monday but service was quick and with a smile. Didn’t get the waitress’s name but she was very friendly. My wife and son couldn’t decide on which pie to get so ordered both and shared. We all shared the starters so we could try a bit of everything, all very tasty.

   The Best Sunday Roast Around! If you're looking for a top-notch Sunday dinner in Wakefield head to The Three Houses! The food was absolutely fantastic – perfectly cooked and generous portions. Great atmosphere too. We'll definitely be back soon!

   Celebrated my fathers 80th Birthday on a Sunday lunchtime at The Three Houses. Food was excellent and the staff could not do enough to make the meal and the occasssion a memorable one. They added their own special touches to the day. Would definitely recommend. Food was excellent especially the Sunday lunch.

   Had Christmas lunch here today and it was the best I have had for a while. The food was lovely with all the usual trimmings. Prawn Cocktail great and Cheescake mouth wateringly good. Great service with friendly staff and lovely comfy lounge with an open fire. Had a lovely Christmas atmosphere. Went with three friends and we will definitely be calling here again.

   Busy pub and restaurant serving good quality food at a moderate price.Building and interior looks a little tired in places but the staff make up for it with their friendly warm customer service.
