   We came today as a family of 7 and all had the amazing Sunday dinners. You could tell everything was home made including the huge Yorkshire puddings. Thank you all for a delicious dinner at very reasonable prices

   We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to The Cavalier. The dedicated kids’ playroom was a highlight – our children were so entertained that we had over an hour to enjoy our meal undisturbed, which was a real treat. We ordered the mixed grill and the steak baguette – both dishes were excellent in quality and flavour. I inquired about a Stilton sauce for my meal, and while it wasn’t on the menu, the landlord, Ben, kindly offered to make one using some Stilton from his personal cheese board. A small gesture, but incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. Service was warm and accommodating, and the food exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a quality pub meal with great service.

   Omg this place is amazing, we come here most evenings. Its so chilled, very comfortable. Has a Dart board and pool table, couple gmble machines, big tvs for all your sports, music playing in the back ground. Nice people everyone is nice and welcoming. The bartenders are polite with lovely smiles. If you haven't been yet you need too.

   Don't be put off by the exterior! Yes, it's dated. Yes, the carpark needs resurfacing but once you get inside you forget that. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The menu is extensive and the food very good. We will be back.

   Absolutely fantastic meal here a few weeks ago. The new menu is really good, with plenty of choice for everyone. I chose the chilli salmon and really enjoyed it. The halloumi fries were the best I've ever eaten. The Cavalier has changed hands a few times over the years, but I really think it's the best it's ever been now that Ben has taken over. It's really welcoming and a great pub for a family meal or local night out with friends.

   Ate here with a fairly large group today, first time eating here, we all had dofferent meals, loaded fries, burger, mixed grill, fajitas and more, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service was also very good, lovely people. Will definitely be going back!
