Visited today with a group of 7. 2 wheelchair bound dementia patients was with us and the staff at The Angel couldn't do enough for us. Before we visited they'd organised extra space for the wheelchairs and once we was there made sure everyone was comfortable. Thank you to everyone involved!!!

Lovely, family friendly, social pub. Visit a couple of times a month, especially Thursday nights where you can enjoy the quiz night open the box and a bit of bingo. Food is lovely. Highly recommend the chicken and rib combo meal. Its my favourite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back in a flash.

Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. Julie and Lawren (hope I’ve spelt correctly) were a credit to the establishment, thanks, Gerald

Lovely service. Great staff. Food was lovely and accessibility for disabled is good. Good parking space at back. Clean. Quick Service. Gives alternatives when not having other foods. However, was quiet so don't know how they are with lots of people. Overall, great restraunt, great service, lovely food and would highly recommend.

Staff always polite friendly and helpful. Great choice of both food and drinks. Never disappoints of how fresh and hot and of great quality (especially for the price) that the food is.

Laura & Lucy were super friendly and very accommodating when we came to asking for something slightly different from the menu. The spicy mango chilli chicken skewer was amazing and Slimming World friendly with a slight adjustment

Lovely pub, huge car park area plus outdoor searing area. Great selection of food at reasonable prices. Nice selection of real ales, and premium lagers. Attentive friendly staff, wait times for food when busy can be around 40 minutes.

I was very close to saying "it's ok, you can welcome us, do not hesitate to approach us, we are humans, born and bred in this planet ... and we come in peace". The welcomer didn't manage to force herself to smile, not a very good start indeed. Food arrived exactly 40 minutes from the point of ordering, too slow in my view, quick glance and other customers were also getting a bit restless and twiddling their thumbs. The gammon skillet was glorious, and the cheese and bacon was delicious. Nice pub inside and out, decor was nice, apart from Samantha and one other, other members of the team need to loosen up a bit and enjoy what they are doing. If you are happy or miserable, we can see it in your face and bodily gestures. Motorway was congested and alternative route brought us here which gave us a little respite from the long journey southbound. CCTV in parking area.
