   We ordered a Turkey carvery takeaway for 90 employees for our Christmas lunch, Rob and the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were more than happy to cater for gluten-free and vegetarian requirements, which was greatly appreciated. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, and the food was outstanding. We received so many positive comments from our employees about how well everything was cooked. Thank you for helping make our Christmas event run so smoothly, we couldn’t have asked for better service or food.

   Ordered on uber eats app two carvery’s 3 meats we usually order from toby carvery but thought we would give silkwood a try unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again food was cold even though we live 5 minutes away in car Yorkshire puddings was flat like a pancake and some food was also burnt. The roast potatoes please tell your chef to make sure he/she partly boils them before roasting them because they wasn’t even cooked in the middle absolutely waste of money! The gammon was also very fatty like they’d just given us the fatty bits because we ordered online

   We’ve been here before the renovation and it was sub-par but this has been one of the best dining experiences we’ve had as family in a while. The new style inside the restaurant is lively and inviting, the staff are above and beyond especially Libby and Samantha. We sat in the new play area section of the restaurant and the play area was clean which is hard to find these days, we both went for carvery’s and our toddler had fish fingers and a member of staff made sure to come out to give us 5 minute warning to get our carverys, we both went for the beef and it was the furthest thing from dry and the veg options beat all other carvery’s including the big T and for dessert we shared the cookies and cream cheesecake, I’m so glad we decided to share as the portion on these are gigantic we couldn’t finish. If you’re looking for a family friendly meal out with a good indoor play area this is worth your visit

   Lovely breakfast buffet. None of the cheap ingredients that you usually get on a buffet, all proper stuff and very tasty. Have as much or as little as you want for £7.99. Unlimited refills on tea and coffee too. Pub was clean and bright with plenty of seating inside and out. Staff very friendly and helpful. No ales on the bar unfortunately (not that I wanted one with breakfast)

   Had a lovely carvery tonight as a belated mother's day treat and absolutely loved it, I love this place it's my new favourite place to eat the food is great the staff are amazing just wish it was closer to home but been a few times now and definitely will be back again soon. The carvery is the best by far abosulutely love Silkwood farm see u soon. Xxx

   Nice place and lovely staff, but the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings could have been cooked better. Both were rather hard. Otherwise, a good time was had. The Eton Mess was a particular delight!
