   Took a delivery from here last night (17th May 2025). The food is usually good from here, but this was excellent! Arrived hot, good portions, which were cooked perfectly, with plenty of sauce. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, so much so, that I forgot to take photos!

   Absolutely stunning. Man who picked phone up was very polite, kind and I had a awkward order as so fussy but to the lovely guy it was no trouble. The chef too you did outstanding. I would totally recommend these guys there perfect. I think it's best Chinese in doncaster and that's genuinely the truth. Keep doing what your doing I for sure will be always mentioning you when I see what do people think on social media is the best Chinese and telling friends n family.keep good work up xxxx oh and excellent value for money

   Very disappointed by our recent experiences of Golden Star, incident #1 we placed an ordered via the Donny Eats app at 16.31 at 17.45 the order was still pending, we tried to contact Golden Star (no answer) so we emailed the app as payment had already left my bank account, 3 hours later our order was cancelled. Incident #2 as we had successfully ordered via the app several times before we decided to give them another try, whilst our food arrived on time and hot, the quality of the food was very disappointing. The chips, chicken balls & spare ribs were over cooked, the Thai Red Beef Curry was bland and the Chicken Satay Sauce was also bland, very mild, with a taste & texture very different to any other Chinese takeaway or restaurant satay sauce I've ever tasted it was more of a peanut paste than a satay sauce. I'm not sure if they have a new chef but we won't be ordering again in a hurry.

   Ordered at 20:20 and had to phone them at 21:40 asking where my food was and was told another 35 minuets on a tuesday night. im not waiting that long for food, cancelled and ordered from somewhere else. Unless.

   Ordered from here to which half the order was not delivered used to be such a lovely Chinese a few years ago after phoniningbup after order was nothing like I ordered was amazed at the abusive response I received will definitely never be returning my custom I would of given a zero on remarks if it was possible
