I recently dined at Halwa, a charming cafe located at main. The breakfast and tea were well-prepared and flavorful, complemented by attentive service and a pleasant ambiance. Overall, it was an enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. Highly recommend. Quality food 5/5 Desi Chai 5/5

Great guys, good intentions, tasty food, BUT NO hygiene! I literally saw one of the workers put his BARE FINGER into chickpea curry to check its tempurature. My God thats disgusting! No wonder the hygiene rating is 1 !!!

At first I thought what’s this walking into a petrol station but then when we got inside my attitude completely changed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The tea was so good that I ordered another cup on the way out.

I was ordered something else. He didn't put in my bags and changed for it. I didn't bother to go back and claim for it, as I was miles away when I checked the bags.

Nice halwa but pratha(£6.50 with egg omelette)is like a puri(doesn'tworth the price), tried today but will not do it again

First time here and I don't rate it. We ate in and even then the food served was cold. Chaiiwala has tasted better than what this place had to offer. Definitely not worth driving out of town for! Overpriced and overrated. Such a let down

Pricey compared to other outlets but clean food. Be Aware this place is not Yaadgaar but their items still present themselves on the shelves and in the Londis next door. The omelette paratha arrived as scrambled eggs on paratha, but happy to consume as taste was good but please prepare items as they are stated on the menu. The Hallam puri and chaana was tasty and the puris spot on with minimal oil. The reason for 3 stars is also that they were too busy to clean our table after the previous diners left. I had to call them over. Also the lack of basic wash facilities or at the very least offering wet wipes is a serious health concern. We were directed to the toilet facilties in the main adjoining Londis/petrol station unit which was DISGUSTING. There was a wet floor, minimal toilet roll left and no hand disinfectant or soap. This needs to be addressed as a serious breach of Health & Safety.
