   We popped in while stopping over in Tadcaster for a wedding the following day. We were welcomed in straight away and chose our table to eat as we hadn’t booked before visiting We had starters, mains and desserts, all were amazing, beautifully presented and all tasted fabulous!! Unfortunately due to travel we probably won’t be able to return again, but if for whatever reason we are in the area we will definitely return! All the staff were great, but the main lady (sorry didn’t catch her name) she was excellent, great people skills and made us feel very welcome!

   This was our second visit to The Rockingham Arms and it did not disappoint! We got served at the bar quickly, the cask ales are well kept and they have a nice selection of gins. We enjoyed the food so much the first time that we decided to book a table for dinner with my elderly parents when they came to visit. Helen, the landlady, treated my frail mum with such care when she showed us to our table, and her team were all wonderfully friendly and helpful too. The food was delicious, good value, and came quickly despite it being a very busy Friday night. An absolutely wonderful pub! We will definitely be going back.

   Late booking but no problem . Lovely staff , really cosy atmosphere . Food was gorgeous ….. really enjoyed it and great value .… only negative , but more of a personnel preference .. I think the Garlic Mushrooms ( yummy as they were ) would be nicer if the bread was toasted… and the skinny fries were limp !!! BUT everything else was super …. Will definitely return …

   Absolutely lovely pub, great atmosphere, and amazing food. The staff can't do enough. Sunday lunches are well worth a visit for too. Slowly working our way through the menu, which also has many gluten free options. The pub is also located next to Towton battlefield for lovely walks.

   A great find if you want Gluten Free food. My son is a coeliac and virtually the whole menu was available to him which is RARE! The food was well cooked and tasty, (I had sea bass with chorizo) the service was excellent and the beer was great too. This was our first visit but we will definitely be going back. Why can't all pubs be like this? Highly recommended.

   The staff were very friendly and polite. My girlfriend is coeliac and we were very surprised how well this is catered for, the food was delicious! Will deffo be going again! We went for a second visit and had the surf and turf, the food here is so tasty! The steak was perfectly cooked, the garlic butter prawns were amazing and even the chips were better than other places we have been. The staff were amazing, friendly, polite and made the extra effort as it was my girlfriends birthday. We will deffo be regulars here!
