Carvery was really lovely. Quick friendly service. Play area however is basic and right next to dining area which is great for young kids but horrendous for child free visits especially as a family from Hell descended on it. We couldn’t leave fast enough.

The food is nice enough most of the time. Visited for Sunday lunch today and it was extremely busy. We had carveries and the meat was nice and the mash. The roast potatoes were poor and the Yorkshire pudding was tough. What lets the food down though is the frozen vegetables. The only vegetable that was not frozen was the carrots and they were brown and looked old. It’s a shame because if the vegetables were fresh we would come more often. If I am eating out for a roast I want everything to be home cooked and fresh and unfortunately it isn’t. Also we had a baby with us who was unable to play in the play area due to feral unsupervised kids chucking things around which would have made it unsafe for him. The staff are very friendly and helpful which is a positive and the prices are also reasonable

We pre-booked a table on their website with it being December. There were 6 of us in total, including a wheelchair and a toddler. We normally find dining quite difficult because we need extra space for the wheelchair and highchair. Thankfully, the table they had reserved for us was perfect. Plenty of room for us to move about which was really nice, it's always awkward if we have to ask other people to tuck in their chairs or move a moment so we can squeeze by. None of them problems here. While we waited for dinner, our 1-year-old had a play in the softplay area, he always loves it in there, it's a great size for his age. For dinner, we ordered 2 carveries, an all day breakfast, 2 big farmhouse burgers, and a chilli for. My toddler. He loved the chilli, and we got the rest to go home with for his dinner. The farmhouse burgers were ABSOLITELY GORGEOUS!! I'd highly recommend them. The carvery needs no comment, obviously. It smelt delicious and my parents woofed it down. Just a note, the staff were so helpful and kind. Nothing seemed like too much, even with it being December lunch time. I often find that when you order your meal and they're already focusing on something else, not here. Service first :) I'd highly recommend coming to Monksbridge Farm to eat. We actually travel down from Hull to take my Nanna for lunch, so it's nice to have a tummy lunch after driving for 1-1.5 hours!! We arrived for a 12 o'clock lunch. No wait. The venue was easily accessible on wheelchair. Great parking facilities. Highly recommended. Get your Christmas lunch here, it's delicious.

We came for breakfast this morning to see my youngest son off for his basic training in the RAF. We were a large party so we had booked but due to ever increasing numbers changed our booking twice. This was done in a pleasant and friendly manner . We were looked after by Beth , Jess and Adrian. Nothing was too much trouble . Friendly , attentive and efficient. We had the middle section to ourselves which made it feel like a family gathering should. The buffet was fresh and plenty of choice and the eggs Benedict didn’t disappoint.

We use several Farmhouse Inn carverys but have never got around to using our local one. The staff were all friendly and eager to help and serve us James the carvery guy was a pleasure to speak to and seemed happy in his job. The food was all good but the roasts were getting a bit solid, overall a good meal. Pleased to say we will return to the Monksbridge soon.

Visited for breakfast on a mid Saturday morning...there were plenty of tables available. I chose to have the breakfast buffet, with unlimited tea / coffee. The serving area had all you could want for a hot, filling breakfast (inc bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash brown, 2x styles of eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes & toast). The food was regularly topped up, as were the coffee / hot water flasks. The food was hot, tasty & filling...just what you need to start your day!

Had a fantastic Turkey and Tinsel lunch today. Food was delicious and the staff as always were very welcoming and attentive. The entertainment was great. The bingo/quiz master revealed he had an amazing singing voice. Really got us into the Christmas spirit. Will be back next year. Excellent value and service. Big thumbs up. Thank you.

Came here especially for breakfast after being recommended and we weren't disappointed. Had a small wait for the fresh food to be put out but didn't mind. It was worth the wait. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks Alicia for getting me the poached egg. Enjoyed it. You dealt with the rude guy really well. Would definitely recommend. We've also had the carvery here before and enjoyed that too.

Monks Bridge Farm is located between Dinnington and Laughton Common. This is your typical carvery style pub with plenty to offer on the menu. On this visit I chose the Farmhouse combo feast at £10.49. This came with chips, coleslaw and a sweet chilli dip. There was nothing to complain about but nothing to say the food excelled in any way. The pub itself has a good layout with the kids area away from the main drinking area with adequate seating for all group and family sizes. Decor is ok for the style of pub, seating and dining area was clean with no noticeable stains or patches anywhere. I did a midweek visit at 6pm and there was plenty of people eating so that should be a good indicator of quality and/or value. Lots of carpark space available. Staff were pleasant, polite and smartly dressed, attending to your table at just the right time where other venues get it wrong which is very annoying. Overall I just think it's a standard Carvery pub but it just has the edge on others due to location, size and Staff quality. If this review was informative enough for you give it a thumbs up for others.

Amazing meal! Had 2 standard carverys and for the price (£7 odd) it was amazing! Wide variety of veg to choose from! The desserts were HUGE too! My partner and I had a lovely evening and would deffo recommend!
