   Found this Harvester while travelling up north. The food is outstanding but unfortunately the service by Derry wasn't good at all, she never came and took our order, I had to ask to order drinks and food after 15mins of waiting (the food isn't an issue but a drinks order would have been nice). The customer service side annoyed me when waiting to order and Derry with a couple of other waitresses was on her phone behind the bar instead of serving. I flagged down a waiter by the name of Alex and he was outstanding the whole time we were there he never stopped and was serving numerous tables his customer service was outstanding. Alex should be told he does an outstanding job and also the jobs of others.

   We visited as a large group of 18 and were really impressed with how smoothly everything ran. The service was excellent and well organised, with no delays despite the size of our party. Louisa G was our server and she was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, making sure everyone was well looked after and that all requests were dealt with promptly.

   We went for lunch on a Tuesday myself, wife and baby. Food was delicious. We asked for a table with space for the pram and my mobility aid and the lady showing us to the table was so polite and moved chairs out of the way to make our table more comfortable for us. It’s a small thing but when you’re disabled and have a newborn small things like that can make a big difference. Our server Beth was great, very polite and helpful. The food was great. The menu has changed since last time I visited but it was delicious.

   My son is profoundly autistic and Paige was incredible. So helpful and nothing was any trouble. I had a sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked (med rare) and very tasty.

   Went here with elderly friends as they love it. It is a chain but the service was great, lots of room between tables, food was good. My friends particularly like the salad bar. All in all a lovely afternoon.

   Never had a breakfast at a Harvester before and thought we'd give it a try. Arrived just after 10a.m. The pub was fairly quiet and we were greeted at the door and shown to a table by one of the friendly staff. The table felt clean and the seating was comfortable. Ordered breakfast and drinks which were served with a genuine smile. The food wasn't exactly piping hot but was, nontheless delicious Altogether a lovely experience all round. Good food, atmosphere and value for money.

   Went for Harvester Breakfast. Brilliant food cooked to requested specifications. Friendly staff with full table service. Fair price and speed to table. Would delicately return. Only issue was some cleanliness issues with glasses.

   Excellent food as always. Excellent choice for our son who loves the ribs with grilled pineapple. Great service by our server Eleanor, nothing was too much trouble for her and always had a smile on her face.

   Overall disappointing. The Chicken Wings in BBQ sauce are delicious, but you inevitably get very messy eating them with your fingers. They should either provide a finger bowl so you can clean your hands afterwards or at least more than one small napkin. I had to go and get paper towel myself. For main course I'd asked for steak to be medium, but it was more like rare once you cut into it and not that tender. Sorry Harvester, not upto your usual standard.
