   We visited as a group of 8 and the food was fantastic. Portions are large but still high quality. I had the sweet chilli chicken starter which was larger than expected, glad I didn’t order any sides to go with the main course. This was belly pork which just melted in the mouth, served with creamy mash, seasonal veg and a rich gravy. Will probably try the steak & ale pie next time, it looked wonderful - proper comfort food. We all left full and happy, will definitely be visiting again.

   We went for my daughters 21st after she'd been for a meal and really enjoyed it. It was really busy when we arrived and we had to wait a little while for our tables (there was 17 of us) as some people were slow vacating their table. Wasn't really a problem. I'd asked if we could have a couple of starter platters to share as we were split between 2 tables. These were really nice and everyone enjoyed them. We'd preordered our food but unfortunately one of the orders was missed which wasn't ideal. They brought it out fairly quickly after be8ng informed, but it wasn't properly cooked. They apologised, offered something else but most people had almost finished so the person whose meal it was decided not to have anything else. We didnt get charged for this. Myself and my daughter really enjoyed our lamb shanks. The feedback on the lasagne was that it was a bit bland but overall we enjoyed it. We didn't struggle to park here and had to park down a side road a few minutes walk away.

   This is a lovely cosy restaurant/bar. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful through our time there. We chose this restaurant as the menu was pleasantly varied with a variety of different cuisines. I had the prawn saganaki, which is a warming wholesome Mediterranean dish. I have eaten this in Greece many times and was not disappointed with the one I had here. Rich, full of flavour and plenty of prawns. My husband had the mixed Gyros which was also perfect. We were both very full by the time we had finished our meal. We are definitely going to be visiting again and the prices are representative of the quality of the food and worth every penny.

   So I booked in for the wife's birthday, table for 10 people, The place was buzzing inside and outside. Absolutely packed. The atmosphere was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food is next level. Absolutely delicious the Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The wait on the mains was an hour but the place was so busy, and we were happy chatting and drinking to notice. The price was cheaper than expected we had meals Puddings and drinks and it was worth every penny. We will definitely be back.

   Generous portions and very well cooked mains. Chunky chips were like roasties! I liked that my steamed veg were still firm, but some people might not. Shared some Profiteroles for dessert but they were not fresh cream, and the chocolate filling added too much sweetness for my taste. Would go again though to try some other dishes on the menu.

   Nice pub with lots of tables in cody of shoot rooms. plenty of parking. But i think the meals are over priced. The service was very slow and not that friendly to be honest. So average meals for above average prices. Although the started were really nice.
