We come every week after our hike in the peak district. Therefore we get the special offer of 2 meals for Β£13.99. The gammon is our favourite you get a large piece with egg, chips and peas. This is washed down with a pint of Morretti and a Gin & Tonic just what we need after our long walk. Fast service with polite staff who come and check if everything is okay.

Called in for lunch and what a lovely clean place nice atmosphere and a excellent choice of music. Nice friendly staff especially Aaron who served us. The food was good quality and hot when it arrived at our table and excellent value for money . We will return with freinds in the near future. Thanks for a pleasant dining experience.

We were excited to eat here tonight. The pub is lovely and the menu looked really nice , however we were unable to stay. I came with my almost 3year old for a very rare meal out . I found the pub not accommodating for our Family. The only reason being was the seating area was unfit for my Daughter. There were no chairs. Only very high stools and very high tables/ bench. My daughter slipped off twice. Unfortunately sheβs out grown high chairs . When I asked to sit on one of the lower tables they were all booked. I understand we didnβt book and that no fault of the pub. I would have stayed if there were some average sized chairs in the restaurant.it was very divided . The booked area where all the tables were reserved had normal sized seats. There was plenty of room for some normal seats in the other side of the bar /restaurant. We did have to leave as the pub couldnβt accommodate us with normal sized chairs. No reflection on the food or the staff. But please consider some suitable seating for children. Your website does say itβs child friendly.

Staff were friendly told early that food would be half hour, no problem. Food was a lot longer than half hour. Worth the wait? Not really, was nice, just glad it was BOGOF otherwise wouldn't have been happy as there were next to nobody in the place. Return visit, not soon but probably will at some stage..

We had a wake here in November, Ridgeway arms were very accommodating and helpful. The food they provided was plentiful and good quality. The staff on the day were very helpful and kind. Thank you for making the day calm and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this venue for a function.

What a fantastic pub this is both inside and out. Great friendly staff nothing too much trouble. The outside area is very welcoming so clean and tidy. The Abbott ale was perfect and the food was amazing the nicest tastiest gammon I've had for a long time.

After a meet up with friends during half term what better than a late lunch/early dinner at the Ridgeway Arms? The answer; not much even compares! I've been to similar chain style pubs and left feeling disappointed at best and accepting that you get what you pay for, but not so at this venue! We'll start with the service; friendly, chatty and though clearly busy, they still made time for a nice word and to check on us. The menu; jam packed full of choice and at prices that definitely don't break the bank. So do you get what you paid for? Quite honestly, no.....it was SO much better! Of course being on holiday a total carnivore and a cheese fiend I opted for one of their challenges (32oz steak with a camembert on to, potato skins, chips, garlic bread and 2 different dipping sauces) and it was DELICIOUS! The meat was cooked to perfection with no gristle or fat in sight the camembert melted first on the plate then in my mouth, and the mountain of carbs were the perfect holiday treat after a day of swimming. And the price? My son, another carnivore chose steak as well and with our drinks on top we still had change from Β£40! All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better place to eat, I can't wait to go back, and I will be telling all my friends!

It seems like a nice place, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience there. Me and my friends ordered 3 pints and some chips through the app. They brought out the chips, but the drinks never came. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I decided to go inside and let them know what's happening. The servers were rude and asked me to be patient, they are coming. I don't think how the situation was handled was appropriate or professional.
