when did it get so bad had mixed kebab an it was awful. meat under cooked had to chuck it away. staff on phone never washed his hands to serve .Place looks filthy. it used to be the best chippy around
Staff constantly stare at customers and people outside the shop, they speak in their own language, whisper and giggle in front of you. Food is bland. It's not Jack's rather Jamal's.
Not had for over a year due to getting food poisoning last time but thought would give it a go again. Wish i hadnt. 3 of us unwell again from the food. Something just not right with the donnor meat tastes nothing like it should. 100% wont be having any again
good portions but chips need longer cooking nearly white need some lessons from chinese next door

We ordered food, onion rings was dripping in grease, horrible the paper they came in was soaked with it. Not good and defo not impressed at all :( 2 stars is being kind to be honest !!!
Pure perfection ... if you want quality food at a great price this is the place to be . Delivery guy absolutely fantastic a true credit to Jack's place , a real superstar .
Nice foot but they tell you 40 to 50 mins then it takes 1 hour and 30 min to come
Not had jack's for years due to moving house but I recently found out they now deliver to my area. Ordered online and received it TWO hours later. This place has definitely gone down hill from the last time I ordered. The chicken kebab was extremely gristly and squigy and the chips were full of black bits. I used to frequent jacks twice weekly and became friends with the original owner. This used to be an excellent takeaway but now it's definitely changed for the worse.
Great place for fish and chips very good food and value , delivery is always prompt, staff are friendly, would recommend
