Always love the food from here. Would definitely recommend. And would just like to say thank you for my calender at 122. As I haven't had one since I was little and brought back nice memories. So thank you for that.
The munchy box from Gold Lee is incredible, and it’s the only Chinese takeaway that does them that ‘delivers to my area’. Unfortunately, the only time I’ve ever been able to have it is when I’ve happened to be at my friend’s house. This establishment needs to contact Uber Eats to update their delivery radius, because every time I’ve tried to order from here (even though it appears as an option on my Uber Eats) they accept the order, then 10 minutes later, no matter how early I’ve attempted to order, they cancel it. Please bear in mind that this take-away is a 12 minute drive from me according to Google Maps. They must only deliver to their neighbours
Paid over £42 last night 8/11 bought a munch box, crispy duck in plum sauce and red Thai chicken curry. Wasn't worth eating,duck and chicken under cooked and the Thai was like a blend broth.sadly won't be back again
Food was terrible, swimming in grease, my partner had chow mein special, which had tiny amounts of meat in it, I was suspicious at the speed which they cooked food , and it made me think it was old noodles reheated, I'm now worried in case we get food poisoning, it looked a weird greasy colour as well, won't be visiting again! In reply to your answer, we visited your takeaway, on wed, Oct, 30, at 5,03 pm, I didn't have an order number, as I was the first one in there, we had 1 special chow mein and 1 king prawn chow mein, also there was far too much soy sauce on the food not nice also at almost £14 , that is a lot of money. To be not satisfied.
Really nice food, swapped my curry to ok sauce which was a really nice gesture :) food wad hot and prepared fresh, you guys have an actually nice pancake roll too, and the delivery driver lady - with purple car lights was polite and kind :)
First time trying Golden Lee this weekend as we were in town and decided we fancied a Chinese for a change. Was so easy to view the menu online and order. Prawn crackers and a big bottle of Diet Coke thrown in. We opted for a starter selection for 2, 2 main dishes and a rice dish. At almost £30 it's not cheap, but this is pretty much the going rate to be fair, and it was a bank holiday weekend takeaway treat. The starter selection was OK, again typical for a Chinese, but fine, but the mains were great, plenty of meat and veg in the dishes, and very tasty. I would usually struggle to eat so much heavy food, but not this time! Would definitely use again.
We bought a meal tonight from here and to be honest we were very very happy, the staff were friendly and helpful, delivery was very good, driver was polite, the food was really tasty nicely cooked and awesome, I like this shop and would hesitate to order again, our experience overall was very good, everything I would expect from a local Chinese Takeaway Shop. We recommend to every Chinese food lover!!
I love the food from here, the noodles and rice are always dry not greasy. The food was excellent,very tasty,very fresh,the meat and chicken cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly and the quality has always been good. One of the best takeaway meals I have had! Thank you.
The food and service here is top class! and we very impressed, the flavour of the food was incredible!! Have tried lots of different dishes and really loved it. Just great balance of flavours and lovely freshness. Absolutely our favourite Chinese takeaway now!
