   Lovely warm and welcoming pub with excellent food, Good beer and friendly service. We came as a group of 5 gents on a walking trip. This pub ticked all the boxes and the pleasant and accommodating staff made the trip a success.

   Shocking service. One hour to get our meal. Complimentary round of drinks. Ordered fish and chips. Not good. Microwave meal at best for £16 quid. Very dissatisfied. Won't be visiting any time soon.

   We've eaten here on many occasions over a number of years. It is usually busy especially at weekends so best to book a table. The pub is cosy, The Staff are usually friendly atmosphere is relaxed. There is usually a specials board in addition to the menu. For me sometimes the food can be over fussy. Prices are reasonable. Parking is available just outside the pub. Toilets are clean. Definately worth a visit.
