   I've never been to a restaurant with half a bed and a washing machine stood in the entrance. The restaurant itself seems to be set in a garage or workshop area joined to a house so the heating is limited to space heaters which didn't appear to be on, you could see steam rising off the dishes right to the ceiling and you could comfortably keep your winter coat on. The food is authentic Chinese and the amount of oil and chilli is not particularly to my taste, but if you do like the sound of that go to their other restaurant Golden Taste on London Road where you won't be met by a washing machine and half a bed guarding the door, plus they housed in a proper house which retains the heat well.

   Ordered fish belly, 1 beer and 2 soft drinks, squid hot and spicy,sweet and sour chicken for my daughter I had mixed seafood, and beef offal, AND BOY WAS IT AWFULL taste good but you couldn't chew any of it, the mixed seafood was tasty, my wife's fish belly was more fish blubba, no fish just blubba, the squid tentacles was tasty, VERY chewy (over cooked) my daughters chicken was fine, I told the 1 waiter that works here I'll take the beef offal home to cook it for another hour so I can injoy it, her reply was you haven't tried it before, ive had it many times elsewhere and my mother used to cook it, £70.80 ALL MEALS ARE COVERED IN OIL AND ONLY 1 STAR FOOD HYGIENE RATING

   Yesterday we were supposed to be going to the Indian across the road, but as we walking down we noticed this place. The staff were friendly, what was nice as well, is you can tell it's a family run business, very welcoming, the food was gorgeous, so much variety, and was more like proper Chinese food, not just your average European Chinese food it was very authentic. However they also provided a second menu, if you wanted to have the average Chinese that sold at takeaways. So they had lots of variety, the food tasted so fresh, staff were friendly, checked if we had allergies. Me and my partner both said it's the best Chinese we've had ever.

   I can't believe this place has any bad reviews. The quality of food is just exceptional, way beyond your standard Chinese takeaway in the UK. I was visiting Sheffield for a conference so went in and asked for a table for 1. I spoke to the owner and she was incredibly helpful in recommendations and even offered to change dishes to make sure I got what I wanted/was craving. She told me they are all authentic south Chinese recipes and wow I've never really tasted anything like it, both dishes I ordered were exceptional. If I lived in Sheffield I'd be eating there regularly! Just be aware they are cash only.

   好吃极乐。Sheffield's best authentic chinese food after golden taste. Really , I been coming here for years and the quality never has let me down. The new place is tucked away a little harder to find so either order take away or park on the street nearby and get table inside. I would suggest the BBQ roast fish (烤鱼）or traditional hotpot. But I am sure the staff can suggest something you would like . Be prepared can be spicy!
