Been here in the past and the food was amazing so I don’t want to lower the ratings but I just came here on a Friday at 13:15 and it’s closed. I read in the comments that owners mother was unwell. Could we please update the times or state that it’s closed for the foreseeable future. As if it is open I’d love to have their delicious fish and chips again but if it’s closed I’d like not to spent 30minutes walking here and back

At last! I've found the perfect chippy. A chippy like the ones we had when I was young, The fish was done perfect, and the chips are superb. Thank you Tracy, I appreciate what you are doing and all the success for the future, but really you've got nothing to worry about. love TONY x

At last lve found an excellent fish and chip shop. All the food I ordered was perfectly cooked. No soggy batter etc. I would place it in the top 3 never mind the top 10. Quite delicious sweetheart, quite delicious. Tony Grayson.

Worst chips ever. Brown and soggy. Scollops were like crisps. Wouldn’t make a fish cake despite an hour of opening left. Will never go again. One in the village amazing, just went here as closer. Won’t make that mistake again.

Most amazing fish and chip shop I’ve gone too in a long time, lovely people that own it and food always fresh and hot. Prices are very reasonable too. Surely is my go to fish and chip shop now.

The best chip shop around by far! All freshly cooked to order which I much prefer,I'd rather have to wait for fresh lovely food although I generally phone my order through and always ready for the requested time. Owners always friendly and welcoming,I look forward to calling in too see them as they make myself and my belly very happy.

Probably the best fish and chips in Sheffield, if not South Yorkshire. Ian and Tracy are always friendly and the pricing is good also. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
