   We came here on 30/7/25 for my daughter’s birthday, a party on 10. We had amazing service from Jenny who waited on us and couldn’t do enough for us. She took all our drink and food orders so we didn’t have to go up to the bar or order seperatly. The food came out hot, fresh and we got all the meals together. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommended the Hare & Hounds for both the service, food and value for money.

   Came here on Saturday for food, service was really fast food was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly, landlady Jenny went out of her way to make sure we had a great time which we did!! Atmosphere was lovely as well. Great local pub will definitely be coming back thanks for a lovely evening

   Came for my birthday (10th Dec) as two previous places couldn't cater for my allergies and one was not accessible for snow, drove home thinking we would have beans on toast and came upon this pub. Staff very friendly. Had a fabulous meal good portions and funky cocktail. Definitely will be back. Even have a selfie photo bombed by Staff was a nice feel to the place, clean and toilets were clean. Locals didn't give us dead eye. Highly recommend!!

   A lovely pub, the food was brilliant and reasonably priced. I had fish and chips, it was delicious. We took our 3 month old puppy and she was made very welcome by all the staff. Amy in particular needs a mention for going above and beyond what she needed to do when an old lady had a fall in the toilet. A very pleasant experience. Will definitely be going back!

   First visit here and the last. The lady serving (didn't get her name) was polite, professional and courteous. We waited just over an hour and a half for 3 mains. Only one other table ordered before us. It wasn't busy. Mums surf and turf she said was nice, but the onions were barely cooked. My daughter's scampi was awful, chips over seasoned and salty. Peas flavourless. My 'italian buttermilk chicken' was over cooked and the tomato and cheese top was terrible. Chips nasty but dressed salad was lovely. Tiny piece of over cooked chicken, badly masked by some pasta sauce and cheap cheese. Real disappointment and huge room for improvement.

   Been and had a 3 course meal today with the husband. First time visiting. The food was cooked to perfection. Well done chef. The lady serving who's name was Clare was lovely. Was there to answer any question we had. Well impressed. Will definitely be returning. Service was fast and efficient to. 5*s from us.
