   I have been to the Padgate Rose on numerous occasions and the atmosphere has always been great. However three of us went on the 7th Nov and although the food and service was 1st class I was disappointed with two aspects the first being the decor which was so bland everywhere was painted white as sad as this may sound I like a Chinese restaurant to look like one we could have been in any restaurant. Secondly they have a sort of island in the middle of the restaurant which stored all the takeaway delivery boxes which we had to look at, these should be stored out of view I don’t understand why they think their customers want to look at these.

   The best local Chinese restaurant/Takeaway. Much better quality ingredients, more vegetables, generous with meats/seafood. Wider range of flavour, dont overuse MSG. The service is friendly, speedy (even though it is very popular.) If you turn up when it opens at 5 on a Saturday, you'll be in a queue with 3-10 other people. We have eaten here at least 6 times over 4 months. Because its cooked fresh, they are able to customise your order. I request no added salt (other than what's already in the other ingredients sauces.). Not very wheelchair friendly. A step at the front and no ramp, leads to double doors that open outwards. Meaning you cant be on the step to open the doors. Fine if you have a strong friend with you. Take out is only £1 within 3 miles though and its pretty quick. Also it arrives hot.

   Ordered food it’s never cold, what I asked for, quick and before the time they said it would arrive latest at always during busy hours. The place is a big hit, and is very tasteful, good portions. Furthermore I’ve had no issues as they are very reliable and quick for service, as well as reasonably priced. Highly recommended

   A restaurant that ticks all the boxes! We dined in today with our 8 month old the staff were so welcoming and helpful the whole place has a lovely warming atmosphere. The food was delicious we ordered the banquet and every course was presented beautifully served hot, very tasty and enjoyed by us all. It was our first time visiting and we couldn’t recommend the restaurant more! We definitely will be back!

   Well after a two hour wait for delivery food finally arrived,was not expecting it to be nice after such a long wait.I was pleasantly surprised the food was delicious Crispy lamb Chicken Fried rice ,Beef ginger spring onion ,Chicken sweetcorn soup ,Salt pepper chips every item was good. The delivery driver was also most polite and pleasant.

   Poor management and rip off merchants. Booked in for the Xmas buffet for 6. Had to pay £50 deposit in advance to secure a table. Arrived, every table free. Only seving £32 or £39 set meals. Ordered from £32. Food was good but took far too long. 3 hours for our meal to be take. Restaurant is tired, dated decor. Restaurant was full of people waiting for take away. Standing right near our table. 30 mins between course. Food slapped down on the table. One poor girl had to wait an hour for her collection order. Bill came £272 inc drinks!?!?! No wine just soft drinks. They hadn't taken off the deposit. Asked my sister provide a receipt that she'd paid the deposit. Made her sign bill and order book that she'd paid it. Then got home realising they'd changed us for £39 menu. Went back to get a refund and they said they'd been trying to call us. No missed calls...... No apologies for slow food or having to eat with a queue next to us. Embarrasing. Won't be going back. Avoid if you're looking for a decent dining experience.

   Our first visit for many years. We enjoyed our meal. The food was hot, tasty and well-presented. The staff were helpful. We had soup, combination and crispy duck. We did feel that the prices were a little higher than some Chinese restaurants we visit. The interior is not large and it is noisy with people arriving for takeaways and staff discussing their orders in the centre of the room. There is an upstairs area, perhaps that is quieter. There is limited parking so we parked in a side road.
