   We first visited this pub well over 25 years ago for a well earned date night whilst we had a 2 hour babysitter . Sat outside with a bottle of wine and watched the farmer gathering his crops with a combine harvester from the field opposite . This memory has remained with us for all these years . We actually thought the pub had been demolished until by pure fluke we drove past a couple of weeks ago and realised it was still there and thriving ! Called in again for a few drinks sat outside looking at the same farmers field but without the combine unfortunately ! We booked for dinner this evening and all I can say is WOW ! Amazing atmosphere ! Fabulous food ! Great value for money ! Had the chicken & leek pie and couldn’t finish it as I was so full ! Copious amounts of chicken in the pie and mountains of well cooked veg ! Absolutely 10 out of 10 Staff are courteous and attentive and land lord & land lady are simply beautiful & welcoming ! Will definitely be back !!

   We visited The Plough Inn, Croft today.(Sunday) I had a vegetarian roast dinner and my family had the roast beef. We shared a side of cauliflower cheese. The food was delicious with very generous portions and lots of veg. It was also very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was warm and the staff very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend.

   Been told many times how good their food is especially the roast dinner, well I must say I totally agree. It was absolutely delicious, I certainly recommend trying here. Service was great and nothing was too much trouble xx Dog friendly as well x

   We love this pub - the landlord and landlady are very friendly and really seem to put their heart into the pub. It's beautifully kept and dog-friendly, so perfect to stop in after a good walk. I really miss the amazing breakfasts they used to do and hope they bring them back at some point!

   Stopped off randomly at this pub due to traffic, was only nipping in for a quick drink but then saw the food and decided to stay for tea. Really glad we did. Definitely good food, lots of choice on the menu and specials board. Will definitely be back.

   Can only comment on the beer and atmosphere here as have never tried the food. Been in a few times over the years, usually in the summer after a walk, always a lovely pint and a lovely traditional British pub atmosphere. Worth a stop off if you're thirsty.

   Lamb shank was nice and tasty. Vegetables however overcooked and hot on the out side cold in the middle. Seemed to be microwaved and not fresh :( Beef Gravy baguette was okay. Small chopped pieces of beef ..would have preferred sliced beef . Gravy far too peppery spoilt the sandwich as couldnt eat it :( Staff here are lovely friendly polite . Nice atmosphere. Would go back

   Great traditional pub to call into for a pint. All the staff were very friendly and your made to feel welcome has soon has you walk in. Brilliant outdoor seating I will definitely be calling in again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend for a visit.
