The food is freshly prepared from scratch. Expect plenty of flavour from authentically cooked dishes. The staff are welcoming and friendly. However, the service was sooooo sloooow. It took over 2 hours for us to eat our meal. Eating off metal trays rather than plates seemed a bit odd - is it authentic? And we had to ask to get enough napkins and cutlery. The ambiance is cosy, with a pleasant vibe, not too loud. The quality was good, but the portions were on the small side. You need 3 or 4 dishes between 2 people, plus rice and bread, to make a meal, so it worked out quite pricey. It's BYO on alcohol. Service charge was added to the bill without discretion - otherwise we wouldn't have left a tip on this occasion.

What a lovely little find! We were in Sheffield for a night and found this place on a search for some Indian food. The food was delicious and great to try something different to other Indian restaurants. The owner was very friendly and the waitress also was really helpful at explaining the menu and helping us choose. Would recommend if you are in the area.

This is a very small restaurant, similar to a small coffee shop. The decor is vibrant and has an Indian jungle energy about it. Me and my partner chose from the meat section of the menu, it was such a let down honestly because the size of the chicken pieces and lamb pieces were so tiny and it felt like they had strictly counted how many they put it, it was a shockingly stingy amount especially for the price. The sauce of both curries was very watery, the butter chicken lacked flavour but the lamb dish was quite tasty. The starters were much nicer and I enjoyed those for example the mo Mo's, very flavoursome. I wouldn't return unfortunately and do think it's a bit overpriced for what it is but good luck to the owners who seem pretty proud of what they have accomplished so far.

Love this place. It’s run by a young and passionate couple from India and is the most authentic tasting Indian food I have yet found over here. It’s a world away from the standard Anglo-Bangladeshi fayre that most “Indian” restaurants across the U.K. offer. It takes me back to my time in Delhi/North India; a rich and vibrant pallet of flavours and healthy and well balanced overtones. The vegan/vegetarian is well catered for here too. I was in York this afternoon and felt blessed that a split train ticket meant I could hop off and train and take the short walk up the hill from Sheffield station to have another excellent meal. Oh and I always order a cup of black chai to go with the meal, a real taste of India. Many thanks and see you again soon.

Stunning and authentic North Indian food cooked and served by lovely and friendly knowledge staff. It was our first visit tonight and we will definitely be returning very soon. My hubby eats meat and I am vegan and the choices available for both our dietary needs was impressive.

Truly amazing food. Couldn't ask for a better meal! We love everything we ordered and love the attention to details. You could taste the love and care the chef has put into their cooking. I would definitely say one of the best curry houses I have ever been to. The owner is super friendly and is a great host. Highly recommended!!!!
