When it was shaan this place was our go to curry house. Since whatever has changed other than the name, the food is much worse and last night we paid for food that never arrived. Unable to contact via phone despite several attempts both yesterday and today.
I just ordered the food, and it was not a good experience at all. It didn’t taste good, and there was too much artificial coloring used in the curries. That’s my honest review I wanted to share.
I had the best lamb madras, special tandoori biriani, bhargies etc, in a long time. It was full of rich, beautiful flavours. No takeaway tastes like Heeley Tandoori, absolutely the best. Please say thank you to your customer service as they always accommodate what I want, your chefs are the best as they have got the recipes right, and that means a lot of satisfied customers, no need to change anything. Better than any restaurants ive been to, It was my Birthday and had a beautiful night with your lovely food, thank you.
Was very impressed with the service and food overall. Loads of taste and not oily. Ordered a delivery for a large party of 11 including a couple of vegans. The manager did a great job helping pick a suitable menu for us with a range of main dishes, sides etc catering for everyone. Food was delivered promptly and was really well received by everyone. Definitely order from here again. Thank you.
Have to say, I'm wondering if there is someone new in the kitchen. Ordered from here many times and always enjoyed, but tonight's lamb madras seemed a level above! Sensational stuff
I've been a customer for years and always had great food.
We’ve tried many Indian takeaway services since moving to the area and were unsure who to try next. We had a menu posted through our door a few months back for Shaan so thought we’d give it a try, good service, good value for money and really good quality food. Food quality On par with our other favourites prithi raj & Kashmiri aroma but shaan was actually better value for money.
We ordered two curries last night with sides for the first time from Shaan. We were very impressed! The stuffed paratha was tasted perfect too! This is our new regular for takeaway curries! Totally impressed!
Really excellent curries at a very reasonable price. Shaan has been our go-to for Indian takeaway for years and the quality has never dropped. I particularly recommend the South Indian garlic curry for garlic lovers! Good range of vegetarian options too.
Delicious food! And you get plenty! But, after training weights hard, I did still feel afterwards that I could have had more chicken. I do recommend though - not everyone will have trained hard before eating from there! Very nice food!
