We made a special trip to The Thamin after having moved away from the area. We have a hankering for the lamb chops (gorgeous) and were not let down again with this visit. It’s our favourite Bangladeshi ‘Indian’. The food is always delicious and plentiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming and if you love good food, you’ll love The Thamin!
I recently hosted my son’s 1st birthday party in the private room at Thamin Restaurant, and it was such a wonderful experience. There were around 30 of us, including lots of little ones, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and supportive from the beginning. They provided highchairs, made sure there were food options for the kids, and were happy to help with anything I needed on the day. The buffet had a great variety and all guests were happy with the food. The service really stood out — the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, which took a lot of pressure off me and allowed me to actually enjoy the day. Everyone had a lovely time, and I’m so grateful for how well we were looked after. Highly recommend Thamin restaurant if you’re planning a celebration — they helped make my little boy’s first birthday really special.
Absolutely amazing place! The atmosphere, vibe, and music create the perfect setting, making it an incredible experience from start to finish. The food is on another level everything is packed with flavor, but their in-house lamb chops are truly to die for. Tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, they’re a must try. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and an even better ambiance!
Beautiful food with amazing service, all the staff are very helpful and will go above and beyond. Can’t wait to go back . Would definitely recommend to others, you will not be disappointed.

I've had plenty of Indian meals and Thamin has blown me away completely! The meat was cooked perfectly, the spices were authentic and the veg tasted so fresh. The service was second to none. Absolutely faultless! Friendly and very helpful staff, constantly on hand to answer any queries. I would be more than happy to come here again and I highly recommend this to anyone who loves traditional indian food!!
Love this place..excellent fresh delicious food.great service..staff are so welcoming..I go qnd sit in often but also get the odd take away .but equally as good.. Great atmosphere
