We stopped at the Farmers Arms for a drink after walking apart of the Sandstone trail, well worth it. Lovely pub and the food was excellent, service by friendly staff who couldn't do more to make your visit memorable. Dog friendly with lots of drinking bowls and a basket of treats for all doggie tastes. Can camp in their parking lot. We will return again

I’ve been to the Farmers Arms a few times, and every time I come I am always greeted with a warm welcome. Dave the owner really makes you feel good the minute you walk through the door. The food is really good and priced very well. I would highly recommend Dave and the team. A community feel pub with plenty of events each week to get involved with.

I just need to rave about the Guinness here. Oh. My. Word. This is the absolute BEST Guinness I have ever had outside St.James's Gate Brewery. Absolutely unreal. So smooth. Perfect temperature. Perfect pour. Unreal. I've told my adult son, and I'm bringing him and all of his mates!

I attended an event here and it was amazing to see and hear all the good work both Dave and Nic are trying to do at the Farmers. Two local people, providing an invaluable service and community space to the area. "More than just a pub" was their motto. A credit to Kelsall. The food was outstanding and we have booked for afternoon tea already!

Proper traditional small family village pub, well kept cask beer, good traditional menu daytime (excellent breakfasts). Often will have visiting food vans eg fish and chips, pizza. Evening entertainment from quizzes to psychic readings, and often live music at weekends. Beer garden and Ice cream hut . Run by lovely couple who live on site, child and dog friendly.

Husband and I popped in here for a quick drink on our travels. Lovely friendly down to earth pub. Would definitely visit again if we were passing.

No Sunday lunch available, a limited bar menu with gammon and some snacks off the list. I had scampi which was ok though I realised later the cook had forgotten the lemon which would have helped. I was disappointed after the reviews I read. Was there a change of management recently? Male staff referred to me as pal and mate. Toilet looked like it wasn't cleaned today. The staff put the football on the TV apparently for their benefit, the two guys running the place didn't seem too interested in their customers. Viewing the unprofessional response I received today it doesn't look like improvements are imminent.

I called into this establishment purely going by Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed ! The two young ladies who served me throughout my visit were so incredibly nice and made all the right recommendations and the food was superb. Generally, I never take photos of food, but the desert was SOOO delicious I had to share it. I’ll always now make a point of visiting every time I have to get the Liverpool ferry back to Belfast. Thank you to those lovely girls who made my evening a real pleasure.
