    Quiet dinner with the wife. Great food. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere (music). Good parking and disability access... many many clocks most don't have the right time. Specials menu and alot of homemade items on menu. Will be back with the kids. Some outdoor seating.

    We went for Sunday Lunch last weekend. New chef apparently. The food was lovely. Loads of vegetables aswell. Lots of choice. Got plenty meat which was cooked to perfection for me. Gorgeous gravy. The only thing was they were busy so waited awhile for meal to be served. All the food was pipeing hot when served which was brilliant. Good price and good table services. Big portions served. Good value. Will definitely go again.

    Called in for lunch and had a really good lunch, the food was excellent and the young lady and staff made us welcome and couldn't do enough for you, we will be having lunch there every fortnight after our shopping. It's nice to see a traditional pub still running in this financial world.

    I'm not one to leave bad reviews or complain but I am massively disappointed with our Experience at the Clock today. I've been here a few times and never had a problem. Myself and my family also came here for Christmas a few years on the trot and always lovely. Today was anything but. 2 adults and 2 kids, ordered 2 main meals and the kids only ordered a couple of sides. Almost everything was wrong. My little sister got brought 3 different burgers until she received the right one. My meal never arrived until way after my mum's which she had to send back because it had gone cold whilst trying to sort everything that was wrong. When we EVENTUALLY received everything. My lamb shank was supposed to be served with mash, came out with dry chips. Which is mainly the reason that I ordered, to receive a meal to SPEC. I work in a kitchen myself and I know full well that the chef just could not be arsed making some mash which takes 2 minutes. ONE member of staff working front of house, bar and running food. This member of staff had clearly only just started working there and had zero training at all. No wonder they have lost all of their staff. Management of this place is beyond a joke. Such a shame as like I said, I've only had good experiences in the past but I will not be returning again.
