I met up with my friend on Tues Oct 7th for a catch up over a pub tea and it was delicious. The kitchen stayed open past its preferred closing time for us and served us up a gorgeous hime made chicken curry and lasagne. The portions were huge! Now I have a very healthy appetite and so does my friend and neither of us had room for desert. We did however round the meal off with a hot chocolate each. They were just fabulous! There was a bit of everything included. A mint candy cane, marshmallows, a mountain of whipped cream with a dusting of chocolate. Id go back just for a hot choc it was that good. We both had excellent service from Lewis. He was really friendly and attentive and I think he made the hot chocs too. Overall we had a really lovely, tasty and good value meal. Thanks again Lewis for being so good at your job.

Quiet, non rowdy, pleasant, friendly pub with great food and great seating which is clean and tidy. The background music wasn't intrusive and easy on the ears. The prices are very fair. The food was delicious, I'm only gutted we didn't get here earlier so we could have had deserts. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The parking is ample. Well worth a visit after getting off the train at Lea Green railway station. Will defo be coming back.

Fantastic pub, with an amazing Sunday lunch offering! We called in whilst in the area, great service and a good selection available from the menu. £10.95 for a large Sunday dinner (a range of meats available as well).

Great place for food and drink, only problem is, their business is being hampered by the Labour run Tory Lap Dog council's vanity project on Bull and Dog island, just for the benefit of a few two wheeled scum bags who won't used it when it's finished, then the career criminal politicians moan about a £2.9 million deficit in the towns education budget! Great way to cause a loss of business for a truly great local pub / restaurant!

Great lovely food. Doesn't do Real Ales any more which is a shame. My friend and I had mixed Grill very filling. The two lady's had lasagne one meat and one veggie both enjoyed. Handy for cheeky pint while waiting for the train also.
