We just had a lovely breakfast experience in the Glass Horse St Helens. Staff member Adam was very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the food served quickly and delicious. Thank you Adam and Team!

Me and my partner came in tonight at roughly 7pm the atmosphere was nice and people was smiling and the staff were fun and welcoming so I can’t say anything about that but the food was inedible. We had: Garlic bread Salt pepper wings Sweet chili chicken strips Salt and pepper chicken strips (until they came out and they was just sweet chili chicken strips which when we sent them back the chef or the person who took them to the kitchen just put salt and pepper seasoning on them which made them taste odd) We could move past that because it’s a simple mistake and working in hospitality myself I understand that people make mistakes, until the mains came out I had-Korean chicken burger, which tasted like it was burnt and it was just sloppy chicken and very gooey, the chips had wayyyyy to much salt and pepper seasoning on them (I’m guessing it’s salt and pepper seasoning) the onion rings just tasted like a freezer bag from Iceland so overall my meal was bad My partner had- the mighty mixed grill, this was the worse of it all (as you’ll see from the photos below) the steak was the size of an onion ring and very dry and was hard as a rock, the chicken. It was cooked and then they microwaved it nothing can change my mind, the gammon, OH MY GOD I COULD KNOCK SOMEONE OUT WITH THAT the sausages were eh, alright but tasteless. Now the worse part. Pepper corn sauce. Can someone tell me why it looked like someone took a poo in that dish? It tasted like fairy liquid, was definitely burnt. We didn’t eat half the meal as it made us genuinely gag. I’ve never ate at a place and the food made me gag. Was just an awful experience Never will we come back again, I wasn’t able to get a refund for the food but overall it was just horrific how someone could willingly serve that.

Twice in the space of 2 weeks, we have booked for 19 people, 6 of whom are children. The glass horses staff coped amazingly. We stayed for 2 n a half hours, and nothing was too much trouble. Great food, great service, friendly staff. Just a lovely afternoon with the family for birthdays. You just can't go wrong.

We all had large mix grill 5 massive dinner and lovely. With drinks it was £89 with 2 special discounts the final bill was £51 what a fantastic meal deal. Green king well done. People you can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking and a kid's play area, inside the pub is well laid out. I highly recommend this place.

I was really impressed with this place - far better than most pub chain places! The steaks were the best I’ve seen in any pub chain place. For £9.50, they were massive. The Korean burger was really tasty too. On busy days like the Saturday afternoon we went, the online ordering works extremely well. We placed the order and had it delivered before the person at the back of the queue at the bar had finished their order! The kids loved the play area outside too.

Came to watch the Womens UEFA final between England and Germany and throughly enjoyed our Sunday. We downloaded the season ticket app which gave us a free drink so we decided to order lunch while we waited. I had the cheeseburger meal which was average, nothing to rave home about and my partner had the stacked chicken burger which was HUGE! The menu is very affordable and they have multiple deals to choose from as well desserts and slushies. The venue is children’s friendly with tv screens in booths as well as a playground for them. With the pub specialising in sports, they have a designated 18+ area and screens throughout. Outside has seats also and a large screen to view matches.. so perfect in summer! The location is convenient and there’s plenty parking spaces even on a busy Sunday. If you don’t mind average pub grub
