   We had a fabulous Christmas Party tonight. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The service was excellent as always and the singer was great. To finish the evening, the DJ got everyone dancing with Christmas songs. A fantastic evening was had by all. Thank You

   We went as a group of 10 and we were left to feeling unwelcome by the staff that served us, lack of customer care and welcoming, if we asked for anything we felt like we were a burden, we didn't get approached we had was to signal for their attention. Will I go back again? nah I wouldn't this was today the 7th of December our table was booked for 2.15pm. Not sure if it was because we were a mixed black and asian family but felt we weren't treated like they have done the white group behind us. But I will not go back there again because of this treatment and if they do not want black and Indian people there, then they should have a sign up stating that. We were very uncomfortable eventhough we spent nearly £260. Nah bad place we will not attend again and I will be making a video on my platform about our treatment shortly. The deserts brownie stated gluten free and vegan however the ice cream was not vegan but we were told we would have to request vegan eventhough it stated vegan. Bad customer service and expected us to pay service charge for their bad service.black and Indian please avoid if these two waitress are there. I definitely won't be returning. I rather eat out in Hatchend where we live atleast people are more welcoming.

   Absolutely loved this place. The portions were very generous and the food was superb. The decor is great and the service was good. Car parking available too. We went in December so was too cold to visit the garden, so will be going back when the weather is good.

   I am giving a 3 star because I really love this pub, I love the massive garden and play equipment for my kids. However, when we ordered food I specifically asked for vegan pizza as the menu said they could be made on request. When my pizza arrived it was clearly not vegan cheese. I asked again if they were sure it was vegan to which the waiter replied. "yes definitely". After eating a bite it was 100% not vegan. My husband also tried and clarified it not to be vegan. I didn't eat the pizza but the waste horrified me so my husband ate it. My husband and kids meals looked delicious so they really just need to be more cautious. Luckily I don't actually have an allergy.

   CAN’T COOK CHIPS!! Stopped in the garden here on a canal walk as had good reviews. The contents of the pitta in the first photo cost me £9.50. The chips were still 1/2 frozen- 2 meagre strips of charred chicken - a splatter of mayo with some tomatoes and onions mixed in there- complete rip for foul food. Staff seemed unhappy. ps. drinks were extortionate for what was served. completely overrated venue,unsure as to how it has such good reviews .

   Nice place, previously known as The Bear on the Barge. Excellent Refurb, great service and food. Music was at a level were we could have a conversation and even when the live came on it was good. Will definitely go back.
