   Chilled Caribbean vibes inside with friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere. Service was slow though and it took over 25 minutes for food to be served on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Doubles and sweetcorn fritters were spot on, but the mango fried chicken, chicken burger and steak & eggs were hit and miss. Might come back to try the jerk chicken, but overall wasn’t blown away.

   After reading the reviews I was looking forward to eating here. Arrived at lunch time and it was quite empty, only one couple eating. Staff were super friendly, plenty of vibrant seating areas, decor represents Jamaican colours, artists, vibes and tones, sweet old skool reggae playing and a lot to choose from to eat. Starters, small or big portions and plenty of juices to order. Food was served very quickly, and what can I say, every mouthful was delicious and definitely seasoned to represent the traditional dishes from Jamaica. The seasoned chips wee delicious, with the meat and fish being very tender to eat. The waiter came over several times to check if the food was okay and if he could be of further assistance. It’s a super cosy place and the decor has done it for me. The wooden and rattan features project a real Jamaican restaurant feel and aura. A lot to look at on the walls and it’s interesting too. The bathrooms were clean and continue with the themes. I was sceptical about the portion sizes at first, but once you eat the meals, it’s truly enough. However, the coleslaw amount for need to be increased. The chicken was crisp and so delicious, festivals were spot on with a soft nutmeg taste. Definitely worth a visit. I’d like to go back in the evening and check the atmosphere when the restaurant is full. Plenty of outdoor seating too, covered with a canopy and very private, perfect for the warmer weather. Wheel chair accessible entrance and toilets.

   We had Natalie and Craig serving us today and we had an excellent time. We purchased the bottomless Brunch and enjoyed 11 cocktails each, and they were exceptionally nice, my favourite was the One Love! Amazing value for money and generous staff, would recommened. Our bill would be £223.40 but with the bottomless brunch was £64

   Awesome food, drink. The curry goat hash was fabulous We were really well taken care of, attended to by Freddie who was forthcoming and encouraging with his suggestions, particularly on the rums. I recommend this place as a go to for families, colleagues and or friends hanging out together.

   Not very busy, visited in the evening, plenty of seating. still during happy hour so 1 free mocktail - but it has to be the same drink !!! I had something like a berry or strawberry mocktail and it was sickly sweet, hard to drink, had to wait for the ice to melt to be able to drink it. I had prawn - shells on, very fiddly to get the shell off, and deep fried Mac cheese balls which were great. The coconut chicken and Mac and cheese wasn't very good. The pasta was tiny little piece and not very cheesy sauce, almost like it was in a runny sauce. The chicken katsu curry was better but still not that amazing. I have tried turtle bay a few times, I don't enjoy the food very much and I am unlikely to recommend. The vibe and ambience is nice and the staff are friendly. Prob better for larger group and for drinking.

   Great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere, attentive staff, brilliant decor! Would be amazing if it had a dance floor to whine on! Or have some kind of dance display/show?
