The food was incredible and so well seasoned! Staff were so sweet, especially Benisha who checked on me often and had great conversation. I ordered the mixed Biryani and garlic naan and was amazed at how flavorful and perfectly cooked it all was - DEFINITELY recommend!

We were staying at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel for the night prior to our flight out of LHR and on the hunt for dinner options. As part of the quick search on Google Maps we stumbled across Kaniz and decided to give it a go. The restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel (exit the hotel and turn left). It was a Sunday early evening and we were immediately seated. The food and service were great. Appetizers were flavorful and plenty. Main courses were also well prepared, tasted fresh, and had good flavors. Overall, a good option when traveling through LHR airport.

Very nice, service was great. Very well timed and our waitress was so kind and friendly. Chutney plate one of the best I've had. Curry was beautiful. Good price. Really enjoyed our visit.

Came in for an early dinner on a Saturday. Had Poppadums, Onion Bhaji and Tandoori mixed grill. All the food was excellent, especially the Tandoori lamb and the Chutney selection, which is one of the best I've ever seen in 30 years of eating at curry houses. Service was attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere was great too. Clean and comfortable with eclectic Indian restaurant musical ambience. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant place to order delivery from on Uber Eats when at Heathrow hotels. I mentioned in my order notes that I was staying in a hotel and they included a plate and cutlery. The whole meal was very reasonably priced compared to anything in the airport or the hotel. It arrived hot and with a smile from Uber Eats!

Although the toilet did not thank me for this food, my stomach sure did. Holy moly the food was so damn good. Came here at like 9:30 PM there were 0 people in the entire restaurant. The food came out in reasonable time, perhaps slightly slow. I'd like to start with the food. The naan was so bussin. I would def recommend getting the garlic naan. I got some lamb dish that was also bussin. The chicken biryani was my favorite- they must put crack in it with how good it is. The food was wonderful. One complaint that I have: the restroom. It was less than clean. There were stains on the toilet and it looked simply unkempt. It just begs the question: why is this restaurant in the most personality-less place in the entire world?

One of the rudest helping staff I have come across We had gone there for dining in .However,As soon as we placed an order he asked us to pay which we did We had ordered mix grill in which the chicken drumsticks were not washed properly and had a foul smell When weinformed the staff about it ( he was in his 50’s I am assuming) he started defending himself instead of replacing the dish He told us that we were the only ones who complained I hardly saw anyone dining in there .May be because of such rude staff Very bad experience, pretty okay food, and indecent staff

Five star rated kitchen and food. Good ambiance. Very carefully cooked as they serve all major airline executives and crews. The tandoori chicken was spot on. Very juicy and succulent lamb chops.

Staying at the local Premier Inn for the night, we wanted an inexpensive but good quality meal within walking distance. Kaniz ticked both boxes. Initially opting to take away, we browsed the menu and made a selection, only to find that the set menu was no longer available. After a few minutes making a choice, it was a little frustrating. Crossing through removed menu items would take only a few seconds and save a good amount of time in the ordering process. We then decided to eat in and selected alternative meals from the menu - although this menu too continued to offer the set menu. Of the two restaurant staff visible, one (a female) was accommodating, keen to make recommendations from the menu and knowledgable about the dishes on offer. The other (a gentleman) was a little less hospitable - and perhaps a little on the surly side. Despite being very average from a service point of view, the food was very good. The mixed grill, selection of poppadoms and accompaniments, and naan bread were all lovely. Going back to service though, one of my biggest restaurant bugbears is when you aren’t asked about the enjoyment of your meal whilst you are eating it. The restaurant wasn’t busy and staff weren’t rushed off of their feet. It should happen in every restaurant every time. Maybe an oversight, maybe the restaurant just didn’t care. But something so small can make the world of difference to a customer. But on the whole, we were pleased, and will likely return in the future.

If you want a good quality, good value Indian restaurant near to Heathrow this is an excellent choice. It caters for all the tradition British curry favourites and has a good selection of more innovative chefs specials. Portion sizes are generous, I always end up with enough for the next days lunch!
