   Stunning location, with gorgeous views across the lake and golf course. We popped in on our way back from a day trip and were pleasantly surprised that, even though it was a sunny Saturday evening, there was so much space to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal outside. Its not as expensive as we thought it would be either, we paid £15ish each for a meal, which isn't bad at all for the quality and overall location. Service was fast and friendly. No specific dress code and just a very chilled vibe.

   As a wedding photographer I'm over the moon to have been a recommended supplier here for a number of years. It's a beautiful venue, that much is clear, but it also run by such incredible staff that really care about making a wedding day special and smooth for the couple.    Excellent overall experience, plenty of seating. You can also book a table to make sure. I sat outside next to the lake. There are umbrellas with heaters if you decide to go in the winter. The steak was great and the brownie desert was also just as good. Great location and great overall experience.

   Went for lunch whilst picking up my new set of clubs. It wasn’t bad but definitely not the best . Some of the dishes were quite good like the hummus and bangers and mash but the Hotpot was really bad , seemed to have been in the pot too long , the meat was tough and the sauce .. can’t quite describe it .. it wouldn’t be a place of choice to have lunch again ….

   Beautiful hidden restaurant in the golf course, open to the public. Only found as our original restaurant was cancelled. The outside seating is lovely & serene - the lake makes for a gorgeous view. The peach & goat's cheese salad was delicious, portion size was filling. The chicken florentine was a nice portion, but was quite dry - I has to request more sauce. Staff were attentive & enquired if all was ok. Would like to go back & try more on the menu. The wedding on that day was lovely too - congratulations!. I did have a lovely video of the venue but no option to attach it!. All in all a good lunch in nice surroundings.

   Friendly Staff. However the roast dinner wasn't great. Potatoes wernt crispy and there was a lack of them. Only veg we got was a mixture of diced carrots, peas and swede - looked like birdseye steam in a bag. Small homemade Yorkshire pudding which was tasty. The beef however was at good portion and tasted ok. Even though we booked for a roast dinner online there was no table service and had to queue at the bar. Food took 50 minsto arrive. Unfortunately not a good experience but the staff where friendly. 3/5 star.

   Beautiful course. We just used the range and then had drinks at the inn. Which boasted lovely views of the lake. You could also watch some of the players as they took shots across the water. A fabulous afternoon. We will definitely be returning.

   It was a good experience. The food was nice the service was friendly and the price was good compared to similar places. There is outdoor seating which must be very nice by the lake in good weather. In the larger seating area there is also a TV set for sports etc. Green everywhere with the lake view, definetely worth a visit if you are looking for places to eat nearby. You can also book the venue for events as well. One thing though they have to clean the tables better as they were sticky.
