Very warm welcome and seated immediately, staff are very friendly and help with menu selection. I decided to have a cocktail after a few minutes the bar tender came to our table saying they did not have an ingredient, offered an alternative in a very professional manner The starters were delicious hot and tasty for my wife and chilled but not to cold for for myself The mains were just as delicious both just the right temperature to eat This is our first time at Ask it won’t be the last The staff training is excellent Also the IT is on point easy to pay at the table Accepted a blue light care without any fuss or bother

Had dinner here with a friend. Service is quick and the staff are polite. It was a Tuesday, so they were not busy. The food was nice and hot when it arrived. I've been here before on a Saturday and there is sometimes a queue if you haven't reserved a table.

We had a wonderful dining experience at ASK Italian! The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick to accommodate any requests we had. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavors. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a cozy meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving great Italian food with exceptional service!

Amazing food, quality ingredients, decent proportions, worth the slightly high price. Loved the complimentary fruit juice shot and my drink. It was around closing time when we reached and while everyone was indeed nice and pleasant to us, we did feel a little rushed but understandably so. My pasta was slightly undercooked but nothing too damaging about that. A few items from the starter menu were not available and we got told that after we placed our orders. Would visit again definitely for the awesome food and ambiance.

Absolutely amazing dining experience here! Seated quickly and staff very attentive and to hand. Service was quick and and price's very reasonable. We had one mistake with a missing item from our order but our waitress was able to resolve this very fast and due to the mistake item was null and voided on our receipt. Good selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan food items. Great selection of drinks to choose from Didn't get to try the deserts as our starters and mains filled us up but i guarantee they would also be amazing.

We had the dinner on Valentines’ Day. They have a three-course meal which are pretty good. Every course has multiple options and for vegans as well. The starter of prawns are really good. Although there were many customers that day, all the food are cooked freshly and kept warm. For pasta, you can choose own toppings such as cheese, cream etc. The cheesecake was too sweet for me, but the tiramisu with latte is good. The environment of the restaurant is suitable for casual dating.

This was our first time in Ask Italian. Everyone was being offered complimentary little shot glasses of rose lemonade by staff. We had two pizzas and two starters (calamari and prawns), the portion size was unfortunately quite small and not good value for money. ~£7 for a starter, ~£15 for a pizza. The food was tasty. The prawn starter is unfortunately shell on prawns so prepare to get your hands dirty. Service was quite slow and chaotic, although the staff was very polite and looked like they were trying to do their best. Our starters arrived before our drinks so we had to ask for these. Then our pizzas arrived before the table was cleared of previous plates. Our cutlery was not replaced when taken away with the starter. So we had no napkin available when eating our main. Small niggling issues but we wouldn’t go out of our way to return.

Lovely staff and massive food portions! Bordering on the pricey side but the amazing taste, lovely decor and food portions made it entirely worth it! I look forward to returning

Running a busy city center restaurant doesn't mean you have to compromise on service and the guys at Ask Italian New St Birmingham have proved this. We visited on a very busy Saturday evening and even though we were a little late for our booked slot, the management team did their best to find us a table (even though other non booked punters were having to be turned away due to how busy it was). We were served efficiently by our waitress despite the venue being super busy. Our drinks, starters, mains and desserts were all brought out at just the right time and - just as importantly - the food was on point. A good varied menu was available and there was also a really good selection of beers available. Can't fault the place, highly recommended.
