UPDATED Fair point, well made! I love what this place is doing and want it to thrive. They have a pay it forward kindness act - little things like that create real community spirit, and Wyld Thyme was certainly alive and electric with that energy. They were also celebrating their 4th birthday when I visited (congrats!). Naturally, I had to try a selection of their baked goods, and there was a great variety - not your usual cookie-cutter options, so I opted for: - Strawberry cream sponge with lemon (ok) - Almond frangipane - Blueberry frangipane (both frangi's had a grainy texture) - Coconut & pineapple cake (the nicest) - Walnut roll (had an eggy taste) Alas, the elusive almond croissant still escapes me! Everything looked great and was clearly made with care, some of the flavours didn’t quite hit for me. The coffee though was excellent. That said, I’ll be back - there’s a lot of heart in this place, and next time I’ll try one of their dishes. Whilst waiting for my treats to be packed up, I was lucky enough to experience a kind act myself, so here's me, paying it forward and hoping you visit this charming cafe with its wonderful staff.

Had a fabulous lunch yesterday at Wyld Thyme Eatery. I had Harissa tomatoes with chorizo fried eggs and garlic mushroom on sour dough toast. My wife had the flat bread with hummus smashed Avocado and halloumi. Both meals were delicious as was the cake we had for dessert. The cakes were so good we even bought cake for the next two days because we couldn’t make up our mind, they all looked so good

Loved this little gem of a cafe. I came here for brunch and was so impressed by the wholesome flavourful food. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options, and everything tasted fresh and nourishing. The coffee was excellent too. A perfect spot for a relaxed meal and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I invited some friends for an Afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday afternoon. I chose "Wyld Thyme" as I had been there before for breakfast. Kate is such a lovely lady, very professional and accommodating. The afternoon tea was served to 12 people and I must say it was one of the best I have ever had. The sandwiches were amazing, the cakes baked to perfection, the coffees/tea were fantastic. I cant fault "awyld and Thyme" and highly recommend it.

Thursday Supper Night Super under-marketed and wholly tasty. We saw through a Facebook post that there was a supper evening and very happy that we booked All dishes were very tasty, beautiful presentation and obviously cooked by someone who knows food and flavour.

Fantastic coffee and a small but delicious menu for breakfast or lunch. I had a perfect flat white and a fresh panini. Kate makes the most amazing cakes and pastries. I have yet to try a Thursday evening meal but if breakfast/lunch is anything to go by it will be great!

Very lucky to have this cafe on our doorstep. Kate (the owner) and her team are always welcoming and make a special fuss of our dog Luna even if we just walk by. Great selection of cakes all lovingly made by Kate and a great selection of food for breakfast & lunch. Kate also runs a Supper Club on a Thursday evening where she creates a varied 3 course meal each week. We have been on several occasions & have been delighted with the dishes and wine. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, amazing cakes or a treat at the Supper Club. Not forgetting the cakes made to order for any celebration. Ordered several for various family celebrations. All delicious & loved by all our guests!

5 incredible mini-birthday cakes, made by the fabulous and brilliantly team at Wyld Thyme. Couldn’t have been happier with it all. Made it a very very very special birthday! Thanks again all, more mocha-crunch to come!

Wow! A fantastic cafΓ© in the daytime serving top-quality food made from ingredients that are sourced as locally as possible, where we can also have spectacular bespoke cakes made to order, and on Thursday evenings eat a high-end evening meal! The quality of the cooking/baking and local ingredients is absolutely exceptional. The menu is great and whatever you choose would appear to come from a Michelin-starred restaurant rather than a small local cafΓ©. I care a lot about my carbon footprint and to be able to walk around the corner and enjoy English wines, beers from Rickmansworth and exceptional food made from local ingredients actually feels very surreal! The bread and croissants are made by the owner, as well as the cakes. Wow again, so lucky to have an opportunity to dine like this on our doorstep! And we're still loving eating my daughter's birthday cake made to our specifications as I write this!
