What a fantastic evening! The staff were welcoming and friendly plus the food was insanely good. The restaurant is beautiful, red brick inside, intimate but not crowed. We ordered 3 starters to try meat and fish options plus one we would never usually order, all were delicious. Mains were spinach and ricotta stuffed chicken served with chips and salad plus beef (cooked to your preference) that had a cream and mushroom sauce served with sautéed potatoes and steamed veg, definitely recommend. We ended with a chocolate mousse and apple pie for dessert with coffee. It was a great time all round and if you’ve read this far I’ll tell you my biggest compliment to the place, not one server came back after serving us to ask if the food was ok, it’s such was a big flex for me….like they know it’s good and they’re not wrong ❤️ If you find yourself near Ormskirk book a table!

Absolutely fantastic. The food was tasty, atmosphere was good, prompt service. Lucy was our main server and she was so lovely and cheerful. The only critique I have is that they had no vegetarian options for dessert. Besides that, everything was great and we will be back :)

Great food: piri piri chicken was beautifully grilled, we liked also the samon and the "cataplana". Great and attentive service, good sized portions, great price per value. Definatelly we shall be back more than once.

This fabulous restaurant has become a family favourite even our local football and famous boxers go here. Why ? Superb atmosphere great value for money and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Staff are like family to my children now. Now under new management the food today was delicious . Service prompt and friendly and still having thar added edge of providing for our party (with a special needs child).

This is a great little restaurant. Very tastey food in very pleasant surroundings. Whether you go during the daytime or in the evening it's a good choice. The prices are less than many of the cafe's in the area, but the surroundings are far more classy.

We had lunch at Piri Piri today. The staff were super friendly, relaxed and attentive. Nothing seemed too much trouble even when the room became very busy. To me, this was more important than any of the very pleasant food that they served us. If I don't feel welcome and comfortable, I can never enjoy my meal. I started with a large glass of their house wine. It was delicious, at the perfect temperature and extremely quaffable! Thank you. The presentation of the food was really beautiful. I was very impressed with the size of the salad which was a 'side'. I could happily have eaten it as a main with a few chips. I noticed that Portuguese families were also enjoying their lunch here. I am sure it must have felt like 'home from home' for them and they would have been glad to be able to enjoy some homeland cooking.

Visited for the first time today - lovely atmosphere and staff, still able to fit us in on a busy Saturday night. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Chicken was tender and the piri piri sauces were a great flavour. I'll definitely be coming back!!

Not the best experience. Drink overpriced 4.95 for beer. 2.75 for lemonade. Food was not very spicy and not much of it. I got one garlic mushroom, seriously one single mushroom. Salmon was folded to make it look bigger. Chicken breast was tough and dry and barely warm. Staff never asked if there was a problem. Cannot park nearby, no good for disabled.
