   Starting off with I ride bmx and was in the skatepark next door for the day just a simple day out with friends. Decided to get lunch and dinner here while in the park next door. For lunch I went for a pig and blanket with chips. I somewhat enjoyed my lunch the pig in blanket was amazing I’m not sure what type of sausage they use here but it’s really really nice with a nice snap when you bite into it. The chips for my lunch were okay the bossman behind the counter did put abit too much vinegar on causing the chips to have a weird taste. But the dinner service was amazing in and out ordered and got my food straight away 2 girls working the counter and one man working the food. Amazing establishment and will be defo coming back again if ever in the Croxley area.

   Good for takeaway. We ordered cod, scampi, mushy peas and chips. The cod was good and the batter ok, the scampi were great. Mushy peas were very nice. The chips probably let things down a bit, maybe we were just near the end of that batch of oil

   Food is nice, Been coming here several years now however I feel like when the young girls serve I do NOT get the portion size that I’ve asked for! Ordered a large chips and they were definitely a small! Such a shame as I don’t mind paying the price but getting what I ask for would be nice as when I get home I’m trying sharing it with family

   I've been living in Watford for 12 years and this is the first time I've tried this place. All I can say is, it's outstanding, not just for this area but it's one of the best Fish & Chips I've ever had. The batter was perfect (so many places get this wrong), as was the fish and the portions are HUGE. My son had one of the equally massive sausages wrapped in bacon, again, very good indeed. Service was nice and friendly and we didn't wait long for a freshly cooked takeaway. I wish I had found this 'plaice' a long time ago. (Banana in the photo for scale)

   I'm so fortunate to have this chippy on my doorstep. Staff are lovely. The food is cooked to order, in particular the fish. Usually there's a queue outside anytime I walk past, which tells you everything you need to know about its popularity. Very tasty and I've not had a bad experience! Only good.

   Good fish and chips but too expensive. I had a tasty large cod and chips. Although the meal was good, it was not good enough to justify its price. I have had better fish and chips around watford for a lot less.

   Best fish n chips by a long shot. Fresh fried, non greasy, the batter was flavoursome and crispy. Tartar sauce that perfect tang. Service with a smile by a lovely guy. Parking out front is handy too.

   Nice piece of fish. Chips were OK and service good. They also include tartar sauce with the fish. Time to wait was to long, and they ran out of pies and most types of fish when we got there.
