   The food was amazing. I got a basic chicken curry with a plain naan and it was perfect. Someone else in their review mentioned that their curries have very less oil and I can vouch for that. The curry barely had any oil and had a thick sauce full of flavour. The atmosphere was was great too, and the staff was great. Highly recommend.

   Consistently great food and great takeaway service. The Ceylon curries are delicious, we have so far had the chicken, king prawns and prawn. Everything comes well seasoned, tasty and not oily like many takeaway places. Saag dishes also great.

   Took some Spanish friends; first time eating Indian food for most of them. As usual too much food was ordered but all the leftovers were taken home and eaten for breakfast the next day, suffice to say my guests enjoyed this experience. I have ordered several deliveries from Mahirah which have been excellent hence my reason for booking a table here; I wasn't disappointed with the food or the service. I will be dining here again.

   This is a gem of a restaurant. I love Indian food, and I can say confidently that this is the best I have ever enjoyed. They achieve an incredible depth of flavor. Every bite takes your mouth on a dynamic journey. The heat is just enough to serve the flavor. And they made it completely mild for my wife without sacrificing the taste. We're coming back tomorrow night.

   Well you get used to Indian restaurants all being much the same, but at Mahirah they have broken the mould and the difference is in their service. We were greeted well, but rather than being left to peruse the menu, were intuitively offered poppadoms and of course beers (two blokes out for an Indian, how did they guess). After ordering we were left to chat over our poppadoms and pickles (5 beautifully different ones) and quietly advised when our main course was ready, but also encouraged not to rush, but to let them know when we were ready; this was a really nice touch. It might sound like an afterthought but the food was all just terrific, my curry being fresh and spicy but not spicy hot for example. Great food, great service, Great Scott, go give it a try.
