   I was here for a wedding but the food was amazing! Cannot go wrong at all, its a really nice location next to the boats along the river also

   Lock & Quay Restaurant & Bar We spent £150 for three people (around £50 per head), and honestly, I didn’t feel it was worth the price. The food was nice but served in small portions, fairly simple food. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the marina location is pleasant. The restaurant was very quiet , However, aside from the setting, there wasn’t anything particularly special about the experience. Overall, I’d say it felt overpriced for what it was and lacked atmosphere

   Went here to celebrate wifes milestone birthday with family. Little did we know a charity do was happening and it was country and western band played.they were fantastic.my wife got a pic with the band.Food was first class.service was too. Even the band members were great. They sang happy birthday to her.Being by the river is a perfect setting.will i come again? 100%. Only downside i thing they should do more events with live music.the crowd was awsome and we all felt like one big family.

   The food was like any other pub. However location was lovely!! Great during summer. 241 cocktails every day 3-8pm. Outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely staff.

   The food here was beyond what I was expecting very tasty and flavourful food and very nicely presented on the plate too. The atmosphere here is very warm and inviting. The service provided here is excellent. Place is very clean to a high standard. I would definitely recommend comming here. (Not one negative thing I could pull on this place) Perfect for dining alone or with friends/family I give this place a 10/10.

   I've eaten here a number of times and never been disappointed, food is always prepared fresh and quick. The location next to the marina is very quiet and pleasant. If you are looking for a great restaurant, I thoroughly recommend the Lock & Quay.

   Friendly welcoming staff, lovely little quite private local. I had lunch on a monday, was very quite. Bare in mind they close earlier on monday & tuesdays. I had chicken burger with sweet potato fries and the fish and chips. Both was average and cooked fresh

   Nice views! Thought the coconut prawns were over fried (batter very hard) but chicken burger and ipas very nice. Update: came for Sunday roasts, food was very nice. Esp the lamb roast and they were happy to sub the carbs for my veg, thank you! The igloos cost £45 for 2 hours but rest of the seating is normal booking. I walked in and there was a table without booking.

   Quirky boatyard location and a solid simple menu strong on steak and burgers and perfect chips. The acoustics on a winter's evening indoors was a little disconcerting with its hard floors and really quite small boxy space... The manager was kind. Small corner bar gives something of a clubhouse feel perhaps, at it it's best I imagine in summer, spilling out onto external seating.
