Amazing restaurant. Food was beautifully spiced and tasty. Just be careful though. Medium is still quite hot. Interesting range of accompaniments. Welcoming family atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Well worth a visit.

As someone who has incredible Sri Lankan food at home with their mum being a great cook, this was a once in a life time experience. Absolutely the most authentic place in London! Truly brings the taste of home cooked food to your table. The virundu being the dish the resturant is named after, makes absolute sense, the food and flavours were exceptional! Would highly recommend.

One of my favourite restaurants I went to dine. From the moment we went in the atmosphere was so good. The service was top class. Feel like home. The flavour of the food was soo good. Would definitely come again and again. Special mention to Sam. His service was outstanding and look after guests very well. Well done to Virundhu.

We came across the restaurant by chance as we were driving in the area. I was totally blown away by the quality and taste of the food. I love the variety of dishes that are offered here. I will definitely be coming back more often. I especially love their banana leaf rice. I will have to come back to try more of their dishes.

We had an amazing experience at Virundhu! The food was absolutely incredible β rich in flavor, comforting, and truly reminiscent of home-cooked meals. It didnβt feel like typical restaurant food at all; instead, it had that authentic, homemade touch thatβs hard to come by. One thing that really stood out was the quality of the ingredients. Itβs great to know that they donβt use anything frozen β everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The authenticity of Ceylon Tamil cuisine shines through in every dish. The restaurant is also spotlessly clean and hygienic β something we usually only see in 5-star hotels. Itβs clear that they take pride in maintaining a high standard not just with food, but the overall dining environment as well. A big shout-out to Sam, who looked after us with such warmth and friendliness. His hospitality made the experience even more memorable. The ambiance of the place is lovely β welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a great meal. From food to service, everything was top notch. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team at Virundhu for providing such a beautiful experience with exceptional quality. Weβll definitely be back!

We went on a Sunday and it was busy for a new place of only 3 months. This is the Ruislip Manor offshoot of their successful Eastcote restaurant. Server Jay was good despite working on a skeleton staff for the night. They have a good range of spirits and wines and the menu has just the right range with numerous vegan and gluten free options. The only thing to beware of is to make sure you to check that their version of mild is your version of mild ;-)

Had a brilliant meal here for my Father's birthday! The service was amazing, our waiter took his time to go through the menu with us and even recommended a few dishes. The food was brilliant, and we will definitely return soon.

Spin-off from ther larger restaurant (same name) in Eastcote. All your Indonesian favourites are here in a less formal, cafe atmosphere. Chicken 65, pineapple curry, lampries.... and that Lion Stout (at 8.8%). Very friendly service - I strongly recommend Virundhu for a different and delicious night out.

Great food in an intimate setting. We shared some curries between us which were authentic and tasted great. Slightly more expensive than other local sri lankan restaurants but the place is more upmarket and the decor lovely. Our waiter was friendly and really knowledgeable. You could tell a lot of care and hard work has gone into the restaurant
