   Been sat in here over 30 minutes waiting for my order that I ordered 20 minutes before arriving to ensure it would be ready when I arrived. Staff are more interested in uber and deliveroo orders rather than direct orders. Spent over £70 for my family to eat to be waiting now nearly an hour overall, I’ve left staff know I am waiting numerous times but been pushed aside to cater for online orders.

   I ordered on Uber eats. It said a 10 min wait and I waited 55 minutes. I ordered an Extra hot Rice box and received the wrong flavour. I ordered 3 garlic mayos and didn’t get a single one instead got sent peri peri mayo. I ordered a peri peri pitta bread and didn’t receive that either. I gave them a phone call and the man on the phone was very unprofessional.

   Hi, I just received my order from Pepe’s, and I’m really disappointed with the quality. The whole chicken was slimy, smelled bad, and seemed spoiled. There was even water coming out of it. The fries were clearly old and looked like they were baked again before being sent out. I’ve never had any issue with Pepe’s before, but this is the first time ordering from this particular branch, and it’s extremely disappointing. I regret not going out myself to buy fresh food because this meal was completely inedible. It doesn’t make sense that ordering online through Uber Eats means we receive old or bad-quality food. I’m requesting a full refund for this order, please. I also believe offering £10 discounts shouldn’t be an excuse for sending out old or unsafe food. Please look into this matter urgently. Thank you.

   Ordered Pepes for a collection today on Friday 25th of July, I had ordered a paneer wrap meal and a chicken fajita wrap on its own. got home and went to eat my chicken wrap and bit into a cold pink bit of chicken which was absolutely shocking. A kind reminder to pepe’s at this branch to ensure that their chicken is cooked rather than just trying to make up orders at a low quality to get them out the door fast. Obviously I am very disappointed and I would not recommend ordering from this branch.

   Safe money and time . Very nice and tasty fries with peri peri salt - top garlic sauce. One star only for peri peri fries and garlic sauce I ordered full chicken with lime mango and mild when at home and took chicken out of the package the sauce was too runny like it’s chicken curry as the diluted their sauce in order to save money no aroma of charcoal at all and chicken was very dry and not fresh and skin was disappeared from chicken. The manager was not helpful at all . You can see the picture it’s dry chicken and runny sauce . Tried to save pennies. Please Save your money and time.

   Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Had their chick n rice. The lady who was taking orders was really friendly and the food was served on a plate which I really liked. All in all very good and recommended. Although the price is a bit high in my opinion.

   Extremely rude and arrogant people. Called them half an hour ago to order for a takeaway. A lady picked up and said we are too busy and hung up on me. Won't be ordering from them any more. There are many other lovely take away places on joel street. There is no option to give them zero. The lady at pepes is rude. We went in once and she was rude even then. Thought she was having a bad day but apparently not. That's the way she behaves.
