   This is a review for a delivery from Just Eat and not a sitdown meal at the restaurant. We normally eat here about 2 – 3 times a month and have done for the last 8 years, but on the odd occasion we will do a delivery from just eat. On this occasion it was a Monday at 5.35 (so not a busy weekend) and we placed our order and sent it through. At 6pm we had not had confirmation that they had received it so I called the restaurant to see if everything was alright. The gent who answered said they did not have the order. I went through all the info I had and he suddenly said ah yes we have it here. The order will be ready in 15 mins and you will have it by 6.30. All good. NOT. 6.40 arrived and no food. Called again to be told sorry the driver has just left and will be with you in 5 mins. 7pm arrives and guess what. No food. Once again back on the phone. This time the owner speaks to me and I says what was previously mentioned on last call only to be told that I was wrong and the gent said the driver was 5 mins from the restaurant not from my home. To which I replied sorry that is not true and even if I misheard then the gent and the driver was 5 mins from restaurant why is the food still not here after 20 mins. I live 5 mins away by car so why is it taking 20 mins and still no food. At this point I told them to cancel the order as I no longer wanted it to which he refused and said I have to take it up with just eat. The owner then said – I am sick and tired of just eat customers I hate dealing with you lot. I am only interested in my restaurant customers (what a way to treat someone who is spending money with them). Alas I kept him on the phone for a good 15 mins arguing with him about the awful service and how he treated customers. So bear in mind that this is now 45 mins since 6.30 that we were told our food was arriving yet the driver was meant to be 5 mins away lol. The owner mentioned that the just eat drivers are (cannot repeat what he said) and they are a waste of time. What the owner did not know at this time was the driver had now arrived and was listening to everything he was saying. At this point I handed the driver the phone and he spoke to the owner and said. (I have only just been told about this order and came straight to the restaurant but had to wait as the food was not finished) With that the phone went dead as the owner hung up. You cannot make this up. Needless to say we will never be ordering from them again and we will certainly never eat at that restaurant again.

   Food is usally fresh, competitively priced and quick delivery. Chicken is never dry and chip portion is always satisfactory. Excellent place would recommend compared to others in the area.

   Absolutely shocking. Waited 2 hours for the delivery and when it didn't show up we called and they said they didn't have a driver for them to deliver it and that we should go and collect it. They didn't even bother to ring us and tell us that. They said the food is waiting for us... God knows how long it's been sat there. Absolutely avoid avoid avoid disgusting service

   My was order completely wrong. Two veggie meals ordered but they had chicken. Phoned to complain and the manager spoke so much he refused to allow me to talk. Finally he took a breath and i got a few words in and then he resorted to shouting aggressively. Its a pity as in the past never a problem but if that's they way they respond then i will be giving them a wide birth.

   Food very good this time. Town centre location so need to find parking. Dropped 2 stars as when asked for a receipt was given transaction receipt. Had to ask again for a proper receipt and was given scrap paper with a scribble, not a proper receipt. Needed it for expense claim.

   Possibly the worst curry I’ve ever had. Tarkha Dahl was like a watery pot of dirty dishwater. Completely inedible. Will never order from here again.
