   Had today here a coffee and a cheesecake and the taste was incredible! Cheesecake was so fresh and absolutely delicious, can’t describe. Staff is friendly and atmosphere lovely . You need to try this cheesecake, it’s from another world !

   Cute café with lovely interiors and a cozy vibe. Very friendly staff. We ordered a latte, cappuccino, and some cakes - everything was spot on. The lemon cake and chocolate cupcake were delicious, and I really appreciated that when I asked for an extra hot latte, it was made just right. Top marks for both the service and the food.

   Very disappointed with the dishonesty I experienced at Cafe Pera in Strawberry Hill on 29 May 2025. I ordered an Earl Grey tea, which was clearly listed on the menu at £2.90, but I was charged £3.70. When I questioned this, the female staff member claimed that “Earl Grey is a herbal tea” — which is simply false. Earl Grey is a black tea, not a herbal infusion, and it contains caffeine. This is basic knowledge in the food and drink industry. The staff refused to honour the correct price, and I was forced to pay more than what was advertised. Whether this was due to poor training or a deliberate attempt to overcharge, it is unacceptable. Pricing must be clear and honest, and staff should not mislead customers with incorrect information. I’m writing this review to warn other customers and to urge the owner to take this issue seriously. In times like these, when every penny matters, overcharging loyal customers — especially by giving them false information — is both unethical and damaging to trust. I won’t be returning unless this is addressed publicly and transparently.

   The service was commendable - the ladies were really good but I am a bit disappointed with the food - the carrot cake was dense. Baba Ganoush and poached egg on the sourdough bread was okay, nothing great in terms of flavour and the coffee was also okay, I didn’t enjoy it. Maybe I didn’t choose the right things that is good, like the English Breakfast as other reviewers have suggested.

For those with a sweet tooth, their hot chocolate is a simply lovely indulgent treat. Staff members ensure that customers feel welcomed and attended to promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience. We felt very welcomed throughout the amiable service. Overall, Cafe Pera earns high marks for its delicious offerings, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. It's a place worth revisiting, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others in the area.

   What a beautiful place, the meals are superb but the prices are honest. I had breakfast for three days in a row, everything that I ate there were absolutely fantastic, It's hard to me to say what I liked better, because I loved all the meals The staff were always kind and friendly. Hint: When you're there after an amazing coffebreak at Cafe Pera Go and take a walk nearby the River.

   A colourful gem of a find just off Twickenham Green. Really warm welcoming vibe + excellent chai latte, cappuccino, eggs & avocado, and very generous fresh carrot cake! Love the tasteful laid-back playlist and beautiful wall art by a local artist. All in all, it has a great independent, family-run feel. Very dog-friendly, and sunny outdoor seating too. Highly recommend!
