Came to visit first week in December. My wife and I ordered the banquet for 2. The share platter has 2 ribs, 2 homemade suamai which was disappointing. Overall the food wasn't great, too many carrots and veg to bulk the meals up. As I review many restaurants I would expensive for what you actually get for your money.
We only went to the takeaway but the food was really good, the service was fast and friendly and the place is spotless.
Highly likely 1 of the best chippy's in Liverpool. It is in West Derby area and has been a very popular take away. It is attached to the Chinese restaurant and really is a nice place to go get your food. It is a very busy chippy and people come from miles around to order here. It doesn't do deliveries. It also doesn't take card, its cash only. However, I don't know of any Chippys in Liverpool that take card. The staff are different here, they are typical scouse woman who are fast on their feet, and on the go. They're friendly but busy, which can come across as off putting. However, when you deal with the public you expect to experience all types of personalities. No messing around or falseness, just genuine personalities, who get the job done to get you on your way to the feeding frenzy at home. I'd say the name of the chippy signifys why its name is what it is, as you do get jumbo size portions lol The FOOD IS ALWAYS SPOT ON and I most definitely recommend you try here.
Update: Service within the chippy is non existent ordered a phone order (only a soup and spring rolls but I know it gets busy) I arrived 15 minutes later and qued to let them know I had a phone order was told to wait on the right even though what I presume was my soup in the heater. 20 minutes later still no service. If your going to take phone orders have someone serving them. Got a staff member taking orders and someone just for the till can't be difficult to have someone on phone orders the heater was full of meals! Went to the chippy not the restaurant been trying other places recently as you can see from my other reviews but nothing beats Jumbo's they just need a card machine it's 2022!!!

One of our favourite dine-in Chinese restaurants near us. We love it here, the food is delicious and staff are super friendly. We love the 6 course meals!! 5/5 recommend.
First time tried this restaurant and ordered a delivery. Excellent restaurant quality food delivered to our home. Well worth the extra few pence for authentic top class food. Definitely recommend and use again ourselves
Came here for my 30th birthday meal and it was the best night with lovely food and the best company. Staff were really accomodating for us all and we'll definitely be returning
