   Absolutely loved this place! Rocked up at 10pm with no booking and the staff were so friendly and helpful and amusing. A great start, but the food was excellent, served quickly and copious. The wine was cheaper and better than in the wine bar 100 yards away. And when we came to pay it was a measly £56 for 2 people. So definitely going to come back here! Frequently. And I know where I’ll be taking people who visit me. What a find!

   If you are looking for great chinese food, reasonably priced in a casual setting, this is the perfect spot. All of your favorites under one roof. There isnt usually a wait time and Ive never not enjoyed a meal here. Its my favorite in the area for something quick and simple.

   This is hands down my favourite restaurant in Liverpool. The food is always top quality — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. But what really sets this place apart is the owner. They genuinely make an effort to build a relationship with every customer, always remembering faces and taking the time to have a chat. It gives the place such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that you just don’t find everywhere. Whether you’re local or just visiting Liverpool, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough

   New Capitol Chinese Restaurant in Liverpool's Chinatown is fantastic! The food is beautiful and we have never had a bad meal yet. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a lovely meal out or a large party for a special occasion. You will not be disappointed

   I visited this Chinese restaurant for the first time today, and it was a fantastic experience! Despite it being a busy day with New Year celebrations, we were accommodated quickly after a short 15-minute wait. Our server, Carmen, was incredibly helpful in recommending a dish, and it did not disappoint! The service was impressively fast, and the food was absolutely amazing—flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. Plus, the prices were very affordable, making it all the more worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their specialties. A well-deserved five stars for this newly discovered gem!

   I thought I had already written a review but here goes. First visit to the restaurant and Liverpool. Service was excellent and friendly. We had duck and pancakes to start, excellent. My wife had sweet and sour chicken which looked good and she said it was very tasty. I had fried pork which came with a large potion of bean sprouts. I'm not a fan of bean sprouts but the pork was very tasty. In hindsight I ordered the wrong dish but that's on me and not the restaurant. Would definitely go back if in Liverpool and recommend.

   Hands down, my favourite restaurant in the city. The quality of the food is impeccable. The staff are so welcoming, and they remember me every time (I visit from the South and always try and go). Good atmosphere, very reasonably priced.

   Unreal food here. Stumbled upon this place by accident a couple of weeks back and I've already been back four times and planning my next visit next week. The portions are amazing, the flavour is incredible and the staff are lovely. They make you feel welcome, remember you from your last visit and all work really hard. The best salt and pepper ribs and chicken cashew you'll ever have.

   Unfortunately a little bit disappointed about the main dishes, Beef Noodles and "Crispy Duck" on rice which wasn't crispy at all. The hot and sour soup and the Salt and Pepper Pork was really nice though.
