   Lovely place for a family Christmas Dinner, good service and great food, I would say faultless. Slight issue with the Table Table automated booking system and probably because of the time of year, I couldn't add another guest to our booking. Couldnt get past this automated system to speak to a human, luckily had a relative in Liverpool who went directly to hotel and spoke to someone who was able to add another person.

   We visit here regularly and have to say it is one of the best restaurants around. Fantastic friendly Staff, polite charming and so helpful. Food is always hot and delitious and nothing is too much trouble for them. Good atmosphere, good surroundings and made to feel welcome. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND FAMILIES

   We had a weekend up for a Kuk Sool tournament. The service and efficiency of both the waitresses and bar staff was extremely helpful. They were on it with our order for 30 of us and dealt with allergy problems without any trouble. The food was lovely. We look forward to coming back next year

   We come here regularly, mostly for breakfast on a weekend, but we do also go for main meals as well. Breakfasts are like a buffet, but you order what/amount of items you want, rather than helping yourself, so food is also fresh & hot. Guys are lovely & we've got to know them all now, so always greeted by a friendly face. Can get busy on a weekend at breakfast time, especially after 8.30, so recommend booking a table. Meals off thr normal menus are really nice, as are the Sunday roast & prices are reasonable.

   I've heard lots of good comments about the Derby Lodge over the last year. So I decided to go and check it out in person. I attended when it was lunch time hours. The place was welcoming, the staff were friendly and the food was nice and the price was great. Me and my son had a 3 course meal and a drink for under £29. I noticed the pub got busy whilst I was there. I will definitely visit again in the future. The unlimited breakfast for £10.99 looks tempting so I might consider checking out the breakfast deal on my next visit.

   Service was fine, nice staff. Food was mediocre, though been before a few years ago and it hasn’t changed too much, still over cooked. Vegan meal was disappointing. Waitress came out twice to tell us they didn’t have certain items which were essential to the meal. Not a cheese burger without cheese and no coleslaw just extra salad. It’s not that hard to keep on top of these things. We had been impressed by their vegan offer but not for long.

   Family of 20 for Sunday lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and all served hot and at the same time. The food and service is better than expected for the price so brilliant value for money.

   Good chain pub food. Served quickly and hot. Bar staff very helpful. Quite a lot of choice both in drinks and food. In the same building a a premier inn. So if your staying there it could not be more convenient.

   Place is clean and tables well set. The guy on reception commented we were 15 minutes early but took us to the table anyway. The waitress was busy and this reflected in her attitude which we found a little terse. Food was OK standard British pub grub. Morning staff were much better and breakfast hot and well cooked.
